“Good stay.”

Check-in smooth. Room good. Room clean. Nice to have refrigerator, stove, dishes, etc.

“Decent place to stay”

My first time at an Extended Stay hotel. Pros: Nice room, including the kitchen. Cons: Small TV, not much to do within walking distance (no pool or exercise room). It's just off Hwy 12/14, but you need to look for the sign behind the gas station. Because it's next to the highway, there's some road noise (at least on one side of the hotel). Hallways were a little worn and dated, but the room was nice. It's a good place for a business traveler or if you just need a place to sleep. A short drive to many places to eat and other activities.

Area recommendations
West Towne Mall area is nearby and has many shops and places to eat. Downtown/Campus area is very lively, especially on weekends.

“Decent place to stay”

Check-in was easy. We brought our dog with us and had no problems with that. The room was comfortable and adaquate for our needs. Would stay there again if we were in the area. It was close to a gas station and Panera which was perfect for our overnight stopover in Madison.

“would go back again”

Our stay at ESA was a pleasant experienc. The room was clean and staff were accomodating check in was easy and all our paper work was there and in order, The room was comfortable the kitchen was and added conveinence seeing we could keep our left overs form dinner out and reheat them the next day also we made a taco meal that was relaxing and good. We would stay at ESA again.

“Fast and friendly service.”

The check-in was fast and friendly; room was comfortable and quiet. We brought our dog and they were very accommodating.

“could not beat the price”

Only disadvantage was it was listed as being 4 miles from UW Campus. It was 8.2 to the edge of campus. Close to restraunts and shopping.

“would stay again”

We were in town for bike night....was very convinient to restaurant. The staff was nice and helpful. We had no ready ice in room so they gave us ice from employee lounge. There wasa stain on carpet in room...but room was otherwise clean.If staying for a longer period of time, would need to get a few more basics for in room cooking. We will look into ESA's for future travel. Good experience.

“Great hotel, Great service”

Book online. You'll be charged the full price in person. It's clean (except for the hallway carpeting in spots). There are some out of town construction worker guests but they're quiet and pleasant. Evidently a hard day's work makes them that way! The staff is very customer service oriented even the lowest on the totem pole. You only get one free room cleaning per 7 days but you can get it for $5-$10 in between. You can ask for and receive all the towels and sheets you want just by asking the front desk or a maid. Free wireless is a shared 1.5 MB (it's OK) One time charge per stay of $4.99 for wireless access but if you're friendly with the front desk they might give you the code for free. No meals but an adequate kitchen with basic utensils and plates. Good size refrigerator, small microwave and a toaster. Bathroom is ok. Small desk for laptop. Comfortable bed. Cable selection not that great, local channels and Showtime.

“Nice and comfortable”

We were very happy with our room. The beds were comfortable, the place was really busy but it was quiet. We were located just over the front entrance and that never bothered us once we were in our room. I appreciated reading earlier that it was not accessible right off the main road and we had to look for the access road as that made it easier to get to for me.

Traveller's tip
Monroe Street was interesting with its collection of little shops. We found the second hand shops fun.
