Great location for a hotel, in the middle of best of scenic Vermont and the Green Mountains. Has its own position at the foot of Mt Okemo at the base of the slopes, without being surrounded with other hotels/lodges and other accommodation. Nice open grounds and good facilities e.g. large gym, group fitness classes, swimming pool, racquet ball court, adventure park, bike hire plus, plus. We arrived and were offered a free upgrade as the hotel was near empty. The front office manager "DJ" was really welcoming and made a huge effort to get us settled in. Really friendly staff who had a lot of positive energy despite it being "stick season" and between the fall colours touring and beginning of the ski season. The room was very nice, roomy, very clean, well appointed and with a view of the mountain, good shower, jet tub. Breakfast can be a bit of a challenge at this time of year. Jackson Gore put on a casual breakfast in the lobby area, cereal, fruit coffee pastries etc. Many of the businesses in the town were also between seasons, so morning eating options were also limited there.
We stay at Okemo Mountain Lodge at least once per year. It's always a pleasure. Good cooking facilities and comfortable rooms with a fireplace. The rooms are always stocked with all the necessary amenities. Further, on arrival, you receive a little gift bag which includes snacks, pancake mix, and pure maple syrup. You also have access to the pool and recreational facilities at Jackson Gore, a short car ride or shuttle ride away. Finally, it's very convenient to the slopes, which is most important.
Stayed there for the night on our way to an event. Were received with courteous and friendly staff (Jim, the owner) and taken to our cozy and comfortable room (Annabelle's). Woke up refreshed and headed down to a marvelously decorated dining room. Breakfast was served promptly and was beyond our expectations... (you may choose from the menu!). Wanted to add one more night to our stay, but the inn was already fully booked. Would definitely stay there again.

The staff made us very welcome, carrying my heavy suitcase to my room up a short but quite steep stairway. Arrived late but readily got great gin and tonic followed by tasty well cooked evening meal. Breakfast was included and had good choices and full plates. Very friendly helpful staff and got good background info and suggested activities from the charming Zimbabwean owner.
