“Beautiful spot”

Both the resort itself and the beach were among the most beautiful I have seen. Highly recommended.

“Best vacation spot ever!”

Riu Santa Fe was amazing! The food was amazing, the rooms and the grounds were extremely clean and staff was the best I had ever witnessed. Since our stay, we have decided that we will return every year and we will only stay at RIU. We were there for spring break and during this time, I recommend that children NOT stay at this hotel. Any other time of the year it would be perfect for families but not during spring break - it gets a little crazy. During the first few weeks of spring break, I would recommend that families stay at RIU Palace which is right next door. There is not one bad thing I can say about RIU Santa Fe and it was because of that hotel that our stay was so perfect.

“Fabulous Resort! We had a great time!”

Our room was amazing! We got a suite and were in Building 7 overlooking the water. The building only has 4 floors, but we still had an amazing view! The staff all over the resort were all very friendly and customer service oriented. The only thing we were dissappointed about was the restaurant options, we seemed to get conflicting stories about which specialty restaurants were open and which weren’t. You have to make the reservations about 2 days prior to even get in. We ended up not eating at any of them because they were closed (due to low season) But the food in the Buffet Restaurant was very good and they had a ton of choices. This is the 3rd Riu I have stayed and by far it was the best! I would go back in a heartbeat!

“Most relaxing vacation ever!”

Beautiful resort, good food, terrific view. Enjoyed everything about the trip. Resort was very clean. Alot of walking depending on which building your room was. Would return to the exact place every year!

“We heart Riu Santa Fe”

The Riu Santa Fe is located right on the beach. The are two main large pools and then two smaller pools off to the side. There are also two bars. The beach near the hotel has large waves but if you walk down the beach, there are roped off areas where you are able to swim. We also took a water taxi with a glass bottom boat, super cheap and a great experience. The beach area right outside the hotel has vendors selling, hats, jewelry, clothes and plates. Prices are very negotiable. We only made dinner reservations one night the food was good. The buffets are stocked plentiful, they were consistent with the food they had so it can be a little repetitive. There was a group of six of us and we were all very impressed. The pool has activities going on throughout the day.
