“Magic Castle Hotel ROCKS”
Extremely polite & helpful staff, well maintained hotel & grounds. Central location for our needs.
“Excellent accommodation”
This was our second stay at this hotel, we came back for the excellent service and location. We arrived early but were able to check in straight away (last time we arrived much earlier, about 10 am and were also able to check in within the hour). Breakfast provided is continental but very good. Free snacks were also provided as well as some DVDs. Service is the best we have had anywhere. i couldnt imagine a better place to stay in the area.
“Nice hotel!!!”
very nice holtel and extremely kind personnel
“nicest staffs”
good location and very nice staffs! You can hear every sound of next door though ;-)
“Extremely happy!”
We loved this hotel. We were given a huge renovated room which smelt brand new, that lovely new carpet smell, with a balcony. The staff went out of their way to be helpful, and there were free snacks and drinks availalbe any time. I really appreciated this extra touch and being made to feel so welcome. the hotel was also in a great location, one block away from the Chinese Theatre and hollywood boulevard (literally 1 block, so a very short walk)
“Perfect Location for Hollywood”
My teenage son and I stayed at the Magic Castle for two nights. We went to a performance at the Kodak Theater, and went to a film at the Chinese theater. This hotel is just one block from those theaters--it was so nice not to have to drive and find parking. Our room was small, and somewhat plain, but the service was very friendly and helpful. The snacks were free, and the breakfast had good coffee and pastries. We did not swim, but the pool area was a nice place to hang out. I would wholeheartedly recommend the Magic Castle, because I was completely willing to have a small room if it meant I was right next to Hollywood. I did not spend much time actually in the room other than when I went to sleep--so I did not really care.
“Great location and would stay there again just for the excellent staff and service!”
We stayed at the Magic Castle Hotel for 2 nights at the end of an 11 day holiday which was a great way to finish our US holiday. Marcus and the reception team at the Magic Castle made us feel so welcome and were so helpful during our short stay. A place away from home. The rooms are comfortable, the location is great (short walk to Kodak/Chinese Theatre and Hollywood Star walk, shops and places to eat). We enjoyed the breakfasts and the kids loved the added extra of mini bar snacks! I think most Australians would love to stay here - a very relaxed atmosphere in the busy downtown Hollywood. We didn't get a chance to see the 'magic show' during the week as our kids are too young, however if I was to return would book over a weekend so we could attend the family show. Thanks again for a great stay.
“Perfect Hollywood location”
The Magic Castle Hotel was fantatstic not only because of its location but particularly because of how at home all the staff made you feel. Starting with a lemonade on arrival and complimentary snacks whenever requested from genuinely friendly, helpful staff. I would definitely recommend couples or families or groups of friends to stay here. Another great bonus is the coin laundry with complimentary detergent onsite. Would definitely return. The only negative is the thin walls; can get a little noisy.
“Reasonable family hotel in Hollywood”
We chose the Magic Castle Hotel for its convenient location and reasonable price close to Hollywood Boulevard. Disappointed our room was not ready at 3.00 pm when we arrived and had to wait 45 minutes. The room was a clean and spacious apartment with balcony overlooking the swimming pool. A basic continental breakfast on the patio was included in the price. It seemed the hotel would be suited for families on a restricted budget.
“Pleasantly surprised!”
I was looking for a moderately priced hotel and discovered Magic Castle Hotel. Based on the reviews of other travelers, we decided to give it a try. It was great! The three teenaged boys we had with us loved the complimentary snacks - and they took full advantage! The DVD rental selection was awesome too. I would highly recommend this hotel.
