“Great place to stay”

The Embassy Suites in Glendale, CA is a great place to stay. Nice rooms (two room suites), great breakfast, friendly, helpful service. I have to go back to that area and this is the hotel I'll stay at. The only complaint I can come up with is the internet service is weak.

“EMBASSY SUITES MET OUR NEEDS”

“ALWAYS IMPRESSED”

Excellent location for our puposes. Close to the Bob Hope Airport in Burbank, no LAX hassels. Glendale is a great California community. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

“Great hotel”

Excellent hotel. Very attractive lobby, comfortable rooms, and service. My family and I love the Embassy Suites Hotels but this one was the best we've been in (amongst Monterey, Lake Tahoe and New York City Embassy Suites hotels). wished we could have stayed longer.

“Are you sure this wasn't a 5-star ?”

Absolutely everything about this hotel was top notch. The property, the staff, even the neighborhood. The buffet that was available each morning was better than most that were served at 5-star resorts. And this buffet was included in the room price, not $50-75 per person per meal. The only negative, and I don't even know if you can call it a negative, is that you are a good hours drive from LAX if the traffic is flowing.

Area recommendations

This was a good choice for anybody. It was pretty quiet, and there was a lot of foot traffic at night. That indicates (at least to me) that people felt safe in the area.

Shopping

There is a huge high-end mall just blocks away.

“Pleasantly Surprised”

Nice hotel, nice quiet area, very safe. Glendale is a bit cooler than other SoCal areas, so it was nice in late July. The rooms were modern and clean. The hotel service was a little inconsistent. Mostly good, but I called housekeeping for extra towels and linens and no response. Later called the front desk and no answer. I gave up. I ended up taking a towel from the fitness room. The maid did figure it out and left us extra towels from that point. Other than that, good experience.

“Good location, unconfortable beds.”

Good location, nice and clean hotel, okay breakfast, but horrible beds. Don't even think about using the sofa bed, it's the worse I've ever seen, it's not even suitable for young children. The mattress is literally 2" high, you will feel every coin and spring. My children have slept in several sofa beds in many different hotels and Motels, but we had never seen anything this bad before. I called and asked if they had an extra mattress or blankets I could put on top of the pathetic mattress and the lady on the front desk just laughed and said no sorry. Even the king size bed was the most uncomfortable I've ever seen. Stay at the Embassy suites if you must, but don't count the sofa bed as a place to sleep.

“Highly Recommended”

A superb hotel, with excellent suites. Breakfast was wonderful - one of the best made-to-order omlettes I've had in a long time.
