Dining
Homage Grand Salon Restaurant - Located in the original 1908 Grill Room, its Grade II listed features are characteristic of the Louis XVI style. The restaurant has 95 seats with a feature bar and walk-in wine cabinet. The new design blends the existing fabric with contemporary elements. The restaurant serves classical dishes as well as some more contemporary favourites, a grill selection and daily regional European specials. The wine list is European.
Homage Patisserie - Serves morning coffee and afternoon tea. The entrance to the patisserie is from the hotel lobby and has a unique, pressed metal finish. Inside the room features the original restored Waring and Gillow panelling. Amongst the rich fabrics and period furniture the focal point is a 'jewel box' counter, displaying fine pastries by day and serving champagne cocktails by night. The patisserie features single estate teas, viennoiseries, fine coffee and freshly squeezed juices, a selection of afternoon tea pastries and a champagne list including the Pommery Collection.
Homage Cocktail Bar - Originally the Hansom Cab and Grill, the Opera Bar and the Gaslight Bar. Wall coverings feature contemporary fabrics, and detailed metal panels provide a contrasting backdrop to period pieces set alongside the B&B Italia Vol-au-Vent chair and a rich, smoked oak timber floor. The bar features a gin-based and a classic cocktail collection and one-plate meals.

“Luxury and Value”
The hotel is situated very conveniently and the rooms were quite large by London standards in particular. We were pleased with the service and the location was perfect. We plan to return.
“Till next time.”
Spa was bad. Looked enclean.
“Not Impressed...Big let down”
From all the travel guides and on line sources the Waldorf was supposed to be a 4 or 5 star hotel. It was not that at all. The staff was rude and were not helpful at all It took staff 4 hours to bring luggage to room The rooms were clean but they were not 5 star! Only 1 resturant in hotel, very limited menu. Everything was expensive Dont pick this hotel!
“Perfect Location...”
We've been going to London regularly for many years and really only discovered The Waldorf Hilton a couple of years ago, when our usual hotel was totally booked.. This is such a great location as well as a fine hotel, that my husband insists that we never again stay anywhere else! Nearly everywhere one would want to go is within walking distance.
“Great Location”
Whilst in a great location the condition of the hotel is a little 'faded', although readers should note I had come to London from the Ritz Carlton in Berlin and any hotel would be hard pressed to match the quality of this hotel chain. The room was very comfortable although the carpet in both the room and corridors was a little 'tired'. The concierge was great with producing maps and tips on bus routes and overall the staff were friendly and helpful. Located right in the heart of theatre district and Covent Garden, for the solo traveller wanting to step out at night for a bite to eat or see a show this is a great location with plenty of people walking around at night so it feels very safe.
“Excellent Location”
The hotel staff were friendly and efficient when I checked in and I was allocated a spacious room on the first floor. Location is fantasitic for a week end stay a convenient walk from most of London's tourist attractions. Pay movie channels failed to work during my specific stay which was not a big issue.
“Super trip!”
Great time, hotel, location and flights. We even booked our side trips to Paris with you. Thanks Expedia!
“Extremely elegant with exceptional service”
The personel were wonderful. Everything they could do to make your stay enjoyable. Very informative about the area as well. Helpful when it came to how to get around and the best methods to do so.
“I would stay here again”
I was in London on vacation for six nights stay. The hotel certainly met my expectations. The room was very confortable and quiet. The hotel personnel were friendly and professional. The only issue I had was at check-in. My room was not ready when I arrived mid-afternoon. I had to wait about an hour. The room was clean with the exception of the area rug/carpet under the bed. It was in dire need of cleaning. The location of the hotel is very convenient to the theatres and dining. It is only about a 5 minute walk from the nearest underground station which is Covent Garden. The package I received included a buffet breakfast which was certainly top notch and a nice way to start the day. The internet access is very overpriced. It was 15 pounds per day. I only used it one day due to the price. In this day and age, I feel that internet access is something that should be included with the room. All in all, I was satisfied with the room and would stay there again.
“Maybe a 21/2 star at the most”
At first they tried to accomidate me. But they ended up breaking my luggage. In the end they blamed it on me becasue they said it already had one wobbly wheel. Yet my luggage was not just missing one wheel but two and they where taken off and not just wobbly. This I would expect from a 2 star hotel but not a 5. Also I found a pubic hair in my bathroom the first time I entered it. I knowthey were busy but that was just disgusting. THerefore most def not 5 or even 3 star worthy
