“Nice staying, extremely small room”
If you are looking for location, nice value and just a place to sleep, it will work for you. The room was extremely small. I had to keep my luggage close. The shower was a joke because of the size and the complimentary internet connection it does't get more than 512 kbps. I got a 14" conventional TV. On the ohter side, the location is really good... walking distance from Piccadilly, Oxford and Bond Streets, SOHO and all the excitement. Tube station is just steps away. Breakfast was very nice and the service was also good. So, if you are looking for an affordable clean room at a good price, this is the pleace for you. Just don't get surprise for the size of your room.
“Ok hotel”
Compared to others in the vicinity this hotel was ok given the price. Found bathroom too small and free room space was limited. Not many restaurants within a close radius. Relatively close to underground station.
“Comfortable City Hotel”
This is a comfortable, well managed hotel across the street from the Warren Street tube station, a few blocks from Regent's Park and within easy walking distance of Bloomsbury, the West End, Mayfair and Soho. It appears to have been recently renovated. The staff is friendly and efficient. While there isn't a huge staff, they were very responsive to us during our stay. The restaurant is welcoming and large but the expensive breakfast is only worthwhile if it's included in the room rate. Otherwise, there are many cafes, restaurants, pubs, take-out places within a few blocks and a supermarket across the street. We took a suite because we were traveling with a toddler and found it to be very spacious, with ample room to spread out.
“Good Hotel”
Good hotel. I reserved the room one month before the actual visit and I was able to save some $. If you try to book the room within 1 or 2 days, be ready to pay extra (EXTRA!!) Location is not bad. The single room is a little bit small, but very very comforting.
“Great hotel in surprisingly quiet area”
The Grafton is a great little hotel. It's a bit out of the way but well worth it in terms of quiet. It's just a 10 minute walk from Oxford Street on Tottenham Court Road, with nice amenities in the neighborhood--Boots drug store, Tesco, Sainsbury's, and Marks &* Spenser.
“Surprise near Regent's Park”
We were relieved to find an inexpensive hotel so close to our favorite parts of London-- it's a short walk to Regent's Park, which is a beautiful place to walk and relax, as well as the British Museum-- and only a short tube ride to Covent Garden and the rest of "central" London. The hotel was surprisingly modern and comfortable. The rooms looked to have been recently renovated and are crisp, clean, roomy, and stylish; though you can see signs of age in the hallways and lobby. Would recommend this hotel to just about anyone!
“Clean room and convenient locattion but very cramped”
Nice hotel convenient to the tube, but the "family" accommodations were very cramped and had an uncomfortable layout. Probably good for business travelers or singles, but not for families.
“Good size room for a London single..”
I often stay in London and the single rooms can be little more than glorified cupboards. Whilst still a very small room - this one had a feeling of space. Location is very convenient for tube, Euston Station and Kings Cross/St Pancras. Slight issue with noise coming from the corridors - the walls seem to be insulated but the doors certainly aren't. Would stay here again.
“Very convenient London hotel with a sense of homelieness”
The Hotel had an atmosphere of home to it, providing all of the comforts. Outsanding that it has a 24 hr gym facility and also was very conveniently located close to Underground station and a plethora of fine eateries, giving guests a huge range of options.
“Good Hotel”
The hotel is good and well located (next to Warren Street Tube Station), but my room was too small.
