“Abbas from Australia”
Not a bad hotel but not the best quality room. Furniture was a lot to desire for. Very good service by the staff but needs some uplifting in the room comfort.
“Attractive hotel, okay location”
We enjoyed our stay at the Novotel because it was modern, clean and comfy. It was really close to the tower hill underground station so it was super easy to get around the city and to and from the airport or train terminals. And as the name suggests, it was only about a block from the tower bridge and tower of London. The downside was that if you want to see most of the rest of the city, it is not as close. The globe theatre and the Tate modern are reasonably close (25 min walk?), across the London bridge. The hotel is essentially in a financial district and you don't have many tempting options for food in the blocks surrounding it. I would recommend crossing over the tower bridge if you are looking for somewhere to eat that is walking distance from the hotel. Oh, also I found the Internet service (which is pricey at £10 per day) difficult to use. On my iPad, I had to re-log in constantly and it didn't stay connected when I switched apps. Could have been user error, but I haven't had that problem at other hotels on my trip. All in all, I would recommend this hotel to someone who is interested in doing a lot of walking or okay with taking the underground to most attractions in the city.
“Perfect hotel in London (price/cleaniness/location wise)”
A 1 minute walk to the tubes, a 3 minutes walk to the trains, what more can one wish when you visit London for sightseeing? Two of London's most important sights (Tower and Tower bridge) are just around the corner. Rooms are well cleaned/maintained, not too spacious, but one, most likely, is only there for the nights. The hotel's good breakfast isn't cheap, but where is it in hotels these days?! If you travel with kids the average becomes a lot lower. Alternative breakfast location: 2 min walk. If we are to write anything negative about the hotel it's probably the fact that there's no concierge, which could cause a bit of waiting when you just want to drop off /collect your luggage or ask for directions.
“Fabulous Location, Friendly Staff and Generous Breakfast”
No real complaints about this hotel - infact the location was so convenient for seeing all the sights of London, infact so many are right on the hotel's doorstep and those that arent are just a short tube ride away (tube is a 2min walk away from hotel). The complimentary breakfast was more than enough to start the day on. Only negative issue was a leaky shower that flooded the floor in our room and the room's are quite small. However all in all very happy and will stay again.
“Nice place”
Small Room but very comfortable. Great location. Nice bar.
“Reasonable hotel in London - with room for kids”
Two adults and 2 teens could stay in room (fold out sofa bed), so this ended up being a very reasonable place to stay. Is very, very close to Tower Hill tube station so very convenient to get anywhere else in London. It's in the "City" neighborhood of London, and on Sundays and evenings surrounding area closes down . . . if you want nightlife stay elsewhere, but it worked well for us.
“Good Value”
The hotel was reasonably priced and for our needs the location was perfect. The lounge/restaurant was very cool as were the rooms which were recently remodeled. There was no concierge which was frustrating as the check in desk was always busy with seriously long lines. There is no wi-fi in the hotel which should be a given these days and the broadband service was cost prohibitive at £19 per 24 hours. However they provide two large I mac's in reception with a 20 minute limit. Unfortunately, it was difficult to use the computers as they were monopolized by children playing computer games.
“Best hotel experience ever”
The Novotel London bridge is a great place to stay if you are going to London. the location can't get any better. The breakfast was one of the best we had on holiday. the room is not overly fancy but does the job well. The front desk staff when over and abouve many times during our visit. I will try another Novotel or this one should there be one in the city I am visiting.
“Novotel London”
The hotel is perfectly located just few steps from tube station, also with easy access by foot to the Tower and the Tower Bridge. The room was somewhat small for 4 people but was well equipped and maintained. The breakfast in the hotel was excellent.
“Nice hotel with convient location”
Although this hotel is located at the eastside of the city (where the financial district is), it is only 3-5 min. away from the sub station. There are also a couple of public bus stations nearby. We took the sub everyday to the tour the other parts of the city. We saw the lovely lighted Tower Bridge every night when we stepped out of the station. The scene is always beautiful. The hotel is very clean and the lobby is beautiful and spacious. I just hope the room can be a little bigger.
