“From US”

This is an inexpensive hotel and in that category it fulfilled all expectations. Small but clean, helpful, and a better breakfast than similar places in the states. Only 1 block from Kings Cross, good Indian restaurants nearby. Definitely recommend.

Getting around

This was just a one night stopover for us on our way to the airport the next day. It is perfect for that. The metro to Heathrow is efficient and no changes, you do not need the express train

“Great place to stay in London, especially for travel to other areas of the city”

My 3rd time at this hotel, staff always courteous and helpful, breakfast is good if not fancy, rooms clean and made up nicely. Not fancy but nice. Location is great for getting around London, even after the tubes close, plenty of busses and taxis and trains. Near the British Library and Wellcome collection and the oldest churchyard in London(St.Pancras). Lots of activity and people from all over the world passing through.

Area recommendations

London has so many areas to see, if it is art, Leicester Square, History it is everywhere, Cecil Court for old books, Museum Street and Atlantis bookstore for occult lore, I could go on and on.

“Good to short stay”

Small, but clean room. Wifi conncetion for additional payment only (6pounds pre two hours). No english breakfast, european only, but not limited buffet. 2 minutes walking from Kings Cross station. Very good for business travelers. Price acceptable for this london location.

“Great Kings Cross Location”

Excellent location near the tube and Eurostar-Pancras to Paris. Clean property w/ friendly staff and nice English breakfast-great for my family of four!

“Good spot, Not a bad hotel”

Pluses: nice staff. quick to respond. decent breakfast. really nice location. Minuses: small room. small bed. annoying shower head. I could go back if i were to travel again at the same budget.

Anywhere in central London (zone 1 and 2 in the underground map) is probably ok since transportation is so easy.

“Would like to go back someday!”

Very compact room, but it was bigger than I expected where England has small rooms. The hotel staff were always helpful when you wanted to go somewhere. They took the time to look up good places to go to make your stay more pleasant. The breakfast staff was most helpful. The food was fine.

King's Cross Station, major tube lines. It it just minutes walk away!

When to go

The first week of July is the time to go if you want to get away from the heat. The temperatures were in the high 60s and low 70s.

Getting around

Get a travel pass to get around London. King's Cross station is right across the street, within minutes walk.

“it was that i ve expected”

the hotel was ok there was a man who was from spain very helpfull and kind.The breakfast complete the place was ok but it wasn t the center but it was cute and pacefull we stayed very happy there Internet may be free

“Worst hotel in my life”

The hotel was very dirty, elevator was broken and the only available rooms were at the top of the building. Te Carpets and rooms were smelly also. The worst relation quality/price

“Squeezed in at a high rate!”

Our room was tiny and the beds small and soft but when I asked for a larger room the desk told me that all rooms are small. However, the bathroom was clean and of adequate size. The surrounding area was run down but close to two major railway stations. Next time I will try to find a hotel closer to Russels Square.

Area recommendations

The area of Bloomsbury close to the Russel Square is historical and charming with several calm and lovely squares (parks). The problem is to find a decent and not overpriced hotel in that area. I'm still working on that. The Picadilly underground line brings you straight to Russel Square from Heathtrow. The British Museum is in the area and Covent Garden on walking distance.
