“I was glad to be there”

Nice place to stay in a nifty part of town. We got there Friday evening so the street scene at Leadenhall Market was lively with office workers unwinding with their pints. I had to prowl a bit to find some coffee the next morning since the Starbucks scene shuts down in that part of the City on weekends, but I managed with a cafe around the corner. It's a magnificent part of London, of course, with architectural surprises around every corner. The hotel was great for the money, I thought. The room ventilation/AC was very responsive, which was a delight, since we'd been crammed in long flights for days and were hot, aromatic as dogs. More than you wanted to know, I suppose . . .

“Definitely would stay there again”

This hotel is great for its money for London. Often you pay a lot of money in London for a crap room. Although there is no breakfast, the quality of the room is worth the lack of breakfast. The hotel seemed like it was recently modernized inside. The room was a good size with a modern television and very comfortable beds. The location was ideal to tour London being located one stop from Tower Hill.

“Excellent location for central london”

We were really pleased with this hotel. Staff were very helpful, room was of a high standard and the only noise we heard was the air conditioning! Being just a few minutes walk from Monument tube station and not far from London Bridge this is an ideal location for visiting the London sites.

“Gentleman's Club for All”

Stayed at Club Quarters for only one night at the end of my trip back to Europe. The staff were helpful, the room was very clean and the size of the room was generous. My visit was on a Sunday. As with many Financial Districts, there is not a lot of activity in the immediate vicinity on evenings and weekends but being familiar with the area I found plenty to keep me entertained within a short bus ride's distance. The bed was comfortable with the only downside being two flimsy pillows. My request for an additional pillow was taken care of within a few minutes of asking. Many of London's beloved sights are within a short distance of this hotel and I look forward to visiting them again while using Club Quarters as the ideal City base.

“Terrific place to stay, great bang for the buck.”

I was budgeting my trip for all the tours and everything else that I wanted to spend high on and my hotel stay at Club Quarters was more than satisfactory. Clean, everything worked perfectly, great service, excellent restaurant with a delicious breakfast and hot girls at the front desk. What more could I ask for.

“Super comfortable”

We were very impressed with this hotel. They had easy check-in and check-out procedures, great security, excellent self-controlled air conditioning and located in a safe area. It is located in the financial district of London about five minutes walk from London Bridge and the Tower of London. It's between two underground stops (Monument and Bank), both about a block and a half away from the hotel and easy to find, offering you easy access to almost all tube lines. The only bad thing about the financial district is all the restaurants close early..not sure why since even business people need to eat dinner?? However, it is only one tube stop away from Brick Lane that has a a lot of restaurants and pubs or a 10 min. cab ride. The bed was so comfortable it was hard to get up to see any of the sights!!

“Very impressed”

We received a warm friendly welcome from the hotel staff and the decor and cleanliness of the room were faultless. The location, just yards from the underground, was convenient for the city sights and galleries, theatres etc. i would give this hotel the highest recommendation.

“Lovely quiet hotel in a business area”

This is a lovely hotel, we had a family room the sofa bed pulled out, not very comfortable though. Main bed was fine. Had microwave, 2 ring hob, toaster, kettle and even an iron and ironing board in a cupboard. The area is very quiet at weekends, shops closed on Saturday and Sunday. Very near the monument tube stop, a few minutes walk. Very near London Bridge. A great place to stay.
