"Lovely place to stay, Sue and John were so welcoming, breakfast was amazing, always piping hot, rooms lovely and clean, would definitely recommend and would stay again "
"One of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in both in terms of the gorgeous building with lots of original features and the owners.
The owner was really kind and helpful with knowledge on activities and restaurants in the area, the room was fabulous!
The cooked breakfast, as a vegetarian was the best I’ve had in a restaurant
A brilliant stay I only wish I was staying for longer. I’ll definitely be back

"We haven't stayed at the Empire hotel before but will definitely be back, friendly helpful staff, good service and food, beautiful hotel with pool and spa, pool was lovely "
"Lovely location beautiful views nice breakfast warning! Only able bodied people as no lift and stairs and hotel on a steep hill.would have rated 5 stars but the mattress was badly worn in twin room and dipped in the middle so felt like you rolled into it which effected a good nights sleep. The property is dated so if that’s not your thing you might be better off with the Premier inn"
