Property was right in the middle of all the sights we wanted to see. Seems a bit crazy outside because its a very touristy area, but the inside of the hotel is very nice and well kept. Rooms were a bit small but very clean.

Brown's is conveniently located, the rooms are comfortable, the staff speaks English and the desk staff are very helpful

Great hotel and location, best room I’ve ever stayed stayed in, Steak sandwich for lunch is a must, absolutely incredible flavour ( I know it’s just a sandwich but it was great ). Excellent cocktails in the evening and breakfast selection sets you up for a day of exploring. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit.

Lovely hotel. Quite small but felt very trendy and modern. Perfect location, in the flatter area of Lisbon near the train station, trams and shops and restaurants. Would recommend!

Charming boutique hotel with less than ideal beds
This hotel is super cute and the staff was very friendly. The only downside was that the beds and pillows are so incredibly uncomfortable (to me) that I didn’t get one good nights sleep. There were two types of pillows- one was so soft and small, it flattened immediately. The other was hard and thin. There was no neck support. The mattress was also very hard. By the end, I needed a massage to get my neck and shoulders right. I will caveat this with the fact that I’m 6mo pregnant and need to side sleep. It was miserable. Otherwise, the hotel was in a great location- we walked almost everywhere except a tram to Belém one day. We found all the staff to be very friendly and accommodating. If a hard bed doesn’t bother you, you will love it!

The location of this hotel is perfect! We were literally in the middle of everything, so we could walk to all the important sites. The staff was always very kind and friendly and helped us with any doubt we had. The vibes and decor of the hotel were also a point that we liked because it gave it so much personality. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a hotel that is centric, good-priced and with an included breakfast. PS: the rooms didn´t have carpet, so that was another plus for me since I´m very allergic!

The location was excellent right in the centre of the old town and within walking distance of most things, be careful when booking a room that you don’t get put in a room at the back of the building on the lower floors as along with no view the air conditioning was loud and would disturb light sleepers, but having said that the bar area was a really nice place to have an after dinner drink and the staff were very helpful and we enjoyed our stay

Cannot recommend this hotel enough. Staff are super helpful and friendly. Location is perfect. My husbands birthday was recognised with a bottle of champagne which I hadn’t even mentioned to them. Everything was fab!

My wife and I spent 7 days staying in a Superior room at Browns Central hotel in Lisbon in the last week of January 2024. We wanted to do a comprehensive city break where we had a comfortable, newish boutique hotel as a base in the centre of the city, next to a metro station, that would allow us to get easily from the airport to the hotel by the metro with our two medium size wheeled cases. Overall we felt the hotel was comfortable, modern, clean with an excellent style and atmosphere and excellent staff. There were some minor issues with our room (small bathroom with leaking shower, room overlooked by surrounding buildings with no net curtains for privacy) which did not detract from its comfort and charm, and as a base for a week’s busy city stay it was superb - particularly in terms of location and connectivity. We highly recommend it if you are doing this type of trip to Lisbon.

Wonderful Central Hotel
Wonderful hotel centrally located to most things you may wish to do, and a short walk to the train station for things further afield. Bed large, but for our tastes a little hard, but that is personal preference. Staff very helpful and friendly, plus, a really nice cocktail bar, with well trained and fun staff

Worth a visit
The staff were excellent and very friendly, thr bar area is very comfortable. The bedrooms are clean and comfortable the only let down is the corridors to your rooms which are dark and bleak. Lastly a great location to get around Lisbon on foot
