I spent 2 nights there and was really surprised at the quality of this Hotel. The location, staff, and room, were very good...clean and comfortable. I have stayed at other places within the same area and they do not come up to the quality of Guest House. When it becomes necessary to go back to Lexington, this will be my 1st choice for accommodations.
We stay here all of the time and have never had a bad experience. If you're going to watch the Cats, pull in across the street in their free parking, walk across the street and walk through the doors. No fighting a crowd afterwards, just walk across the hallway to the Hyatt. The opposing teams stay here to, so you will run into them in the elevators and lobby. Comfy beds and centrally located.
We were just an hour away from home and wanted to check out the night life in Lexington so we stayed here for the night. The funny part is that most of our night was spent in the bar of the hotel, which is great by the way. We had an excellent view of the stair step fountains from our room.
The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly during check in. He recommended a great place a short drive away called Drakes since my boyfriend and I wanted drinks and dinner. Excellent recommendation.
The room itself was beautiful, the bed was extremely comfortable and I slept like a baby. I really appreciated having a larger refridgerator, a microwave and a sink out since we were traveling a distance and had a lot to store. The bathroom was giant and had excellent water pressure.
The TV shut off service to a lot of the channels, I'm not sure what that was about. Breakfast was pretty decent for a cold breakfast. They had a delicious bowl of sliced fruit!
I would absolutely recommend this to anyone who needs a place to stay.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were very well appointed and the breakfast buffet was the best ever! The only problem we had was that our drain in the shower needed to be desperately snaked and the toilet seat was loose. After leaving housekeeping a note and speaking with them personally, it was not done.
The lunch we had was absolutely excellent , it was catered for 35 and was the best lunch we had every had catered out in a hotel staff was very attentive and several restaurants also close by in waking distance
We were married on Halloween. With a house full of family, we finally got a change to have our one night honeymoon on the following Monday.
We live in Kentucky but an hour and a half outside Lexington. We wanted a hotel to stay in that was close to all the locations we like to go to. We checked in, went out to dinner and then went to visit one of our old hangouts.
The room looked very nice, it was clean, the bed was comfortable. We had a non-smoking room that didn't have any trace of smoking in it. There was a microwave and mini-fridge.
It was a nice clean and basic room...perfect for what we needed. We just needed a nice place to crash after a night out...we will go back and stay there again next time we need a place to crash in Lexington.
