Several small "villages" built in different styles (Zulu, Xhosa, etc) I stayed in a Zulu hut. Interesting and a bit different. Comfortably furnished with an ensuite bathroom - neither room huge but big enough to be ample for two people. Nice to be able to see the wicker construction work under the thatched roof.
They do a tour round the various villages explaining the different tribal cultures and then a dance show with the various dances (a lot seem very similar).
All in all a bargain at the price.
Very reasonably priced and had a lovely big breakfast every morning.
The staff were exceptionaly helpful and pleasant.
The only negative was the dirt road you have to drive getting there has a lot of corrigations and potholes so one needs to drive slow but other than that a great stay had by my wife and i.

We stayed at City Lodge as a cheaper alternative to the options at Montecasino. It's a nice hotel, the only drawback is that after hanging out all evening at Montecasinco, you have to deal with the inconvenience of walking back across the street and parking lot to get to your room. At about R500 less than the cheapest option available at Montecasino, the inconvenience was worth the savings. Any less savings than that, and I would choose to spend a little more and go with the more convenient option.
