“Inexpensive hotel good in every way”
I stayed at La Quinta Inn and Suites Las Vegas Summerlin Tech while on a business trip. The Internet connection was important to me--it was fast and stable. I had a work desk in my room--could not wish for anything better. The service is flawless, the staff is very courteous and helpful, the room overall is very good for the money. Cannot find a single flaw.
“Not impressed”
little trouble with getting rhe right room (non smoking) after being reassured a non smoking room would be available. First room not right ,second room ok. Upon leaving checked drawers to find adult toys in nightstand. Told front desk to have housekeeping check. Won't be coming back
“This hotel was excellent, very clean, quiet even with a large group of teenagers there. Excellent!!”
I was a little concerned at first as was right next to very busy freeway, but no problems. Also same time were were there the hotel had a large group of teenage soccer player because an Soccer tournament. They were well behaved and not noisey as I have encounter with such groups. The breakfast they offer (free) was excellent. I would definitely recommend in the future and would definitely stay there again. Also location was great, easy access to freeway and most surrounding areas as malls, casinos and resturants. Wonderful stay.
“Fantastic Bargain”
This was a fabulous hotel. Comfy bed, nice view, exactly what I needed! :)
“Poor value for cost”
For what this hotel charges, I expect more then what this hotel delivers. I stay there because it is very close to the hospital where I work The elevators are dirty, there are splash stains on the lower walls and have been there, I have stayed several times and even brought it to the staffs attention , but it was never cleaned. The doors to the bathroom in my room also had splash stains. The fruit they had for the continental breakfast was not fresh, and the cut fruit was water logged. The room was very comfortable, the bed is great--good quality mattress. safe neighborhood. However, right next to the Freeway so alot of traffic noise.
“Some housekeeping problems”
Many aspects of the hotel were great and I especially enjoyed the breakfast and pool. I had a couple of problems that will cause me to choose a different hotel in the future. The was a lot of hair on the bathroom floor behind the bathroom door that housekeeping missed. The room had no washcloths and only two towels. It did have a bar of soap but no shampoo or bodywash. The shower drain did not work well and took 15 minutes to drain after showering. A large dog (German Shepherd size) was left unattended in room across hall for several hours and barked anytime somebody walked down the hall.
“Decent hotel for the price”
The best part about my stay was the staff. The nice lady behind the counter when I checked in upgraded me to a suite room with a microwave & a fridge with no extra charge although I did stay for 10 days. The room was adequate if not exactly first class. I had to switch out fridges as mine wasn't working and my television set was outdated and many of the channels were dark. She did say that they were in the process of upgrading to flat screens. The bed was relatively comfortable with lots of pillows. I occasionally got refills on my coffee in the room but not always. The breakfast was not all that great. You have a choice of muffins, waffles, cereal or oatmeal but it was adequate enough for me. Beware that the wireless internet in the rooms were extremely slow in the afternoon. Slow enough that you didn't even bother getting on. This bothered me in that I was in town house hunting and I needed constant computer access. Overall it was a nice hotel but I think I'd rather stay in the Hampton Inn next door. One great point was the pool. It was very nice and I had it to myself for the entire stay pretty much.
“Good, but not great!!”
Well our first room we checked into was gross. There were spit wads on the walls and ceiling. There were also boogers on the wall next to the bed. Big bloody boogers wiped all over the walls. I immediately called the front desk and they had no more regular rooms so they gave us a 1 bedroom suite. We had 2 kids with us who had to sleep on the fold out couch which was very uncomfortable.
“Will be back”
Very impressed with the Hotel. People were very friendly, and made sure we had every thing we needed.
“We especially appreciate that the allows dogs to stay. We will always choose La Quinta from now on.”
I highly recommend this hotel. It is clean, quiet and nicely decorated. The breakfast was above average.
