“Quite Serviceable”
This is not the best hotel/casino in Vegas by any stretch, but for the budget or budget-concious traveller it is fine. The rooms are a little smaller, and a little older than what you might find at the MGM or Bellagio, but if you don't spend 24hrs per day in your room, then you'll survive. Casino is adequate for losing money (which is what we're all in Vegas for, anyway!) Hotel Restaurants are a little on the expensive side, so try to eat elsewhere.
“Don't recommend if you value your lungs”
We went through several hotels while we were in Las Vegas and Harrah's was, by far, the smokiest. It was absolutely disgusting. We couldn't really spend any time there because of it. Our room was fairly clean, but the light in the bathroom was iffy and the refrigerator didn't work at all. There really wasn't anything interesting at that hotel, and there wasn't anything to do except gamble. It was conveniently located to the monorail, but that was about the only plus.
“Awesome can't wait till next year!”
Go every year and can't wait till next year!
“Poor Lighting, No refri, No free Internet”
I was disappointed with the room. The lobby is excellent, however, the room was dark...not enough light. There was no coffee maker, no refrigerator, and the outlets were hidden..behind large furniture. The table was on one side of the room and the outlets and plug in for internet was near the bedside table. I expected more....some amenties are basic and they lacked in this area. The location and cleanliness were great.
“Nice hotel for the price.”
Good hotel for the price. We paid $30.00 a night which is a great price considering we went durning the NFR.Clean hotel. Toby Keith bar is always fun though a little on the pricey side.
“Weekday Vegas trip”
Good price and good location. The only two things I would change would be better shows and food choices.
“great Thanksgiving trip”
The room was larger then I thought it would be. The check-in desk worked with me so that I could get a joining room even thought my brother's flight wouldn't be in for hours. It worked out perfect to have the joining rooms. We had a great time. The housekeeper for our room Betty was great and very helpful to my mother who has mobility issues.
“Not impressive, no wireless connection, we lost one luggage in the Bell Service”
Overall, hotel comfort and location is quite alright, except for they do not have wireless connection. We lost a suitcase that was left with the Bell Hop Service. Had to wait for hours to retrieve because it was delivered to a different room. And BEWARE! the room refrigerator automatically charges you as soon as you open the fridge door or move anything in it even if you did not get anything .
“The staff at the desks were sometimes very unfriendly. I'm not used to that.”
The hotel was nice, but so are others in Las Vegas. We spent a lot of money in the machines and I guess we could have gone to another hotel but we had already made reservations for Harrah's. I probably won't consider another outing to Las Vegas and a stay at this hotel. I'm used to people being friendly and not giving me a "smart answer" to a simple question and look at me as if I'm just another line of credit for their paycheck. Sometimes it seemed as if they didn't like their job, but they were stuck their and I sensed a little hostility at times. The friendly people in the hotel were the maids and housekeepers. The upper-crust staff could take a lesson from them.
“Great Hotel”
great place to stay. Beds extremely comfortable, and the first one I've stayed that had in room coffee.
