“Basic clean hotel room”
Clean basic room. Very convenient location in downtown and Avis car rental in lobby. You can hear your neighbors and would recommend staying on opposite side of hotel from the "Fremont Experience" ... can get noisy on the hour at night.
“Always Great Stay”
Have been going to this hotel for over 4 years and never have had a bad experience there. Staff is always helpful. Center location of the Downtown area makes it easy to go to all the casinos while there. Light show at night and other free shows on the street makes it a fun time!
“Won't Stay At the Four Queens Again”
The Four Queens is an older hotel so I expected that it would not be as nice as some of the hotels on the strip. My only complaint with the Four Queens is that they did not have air condition. We stopped by the front desk to let them know our air conditioner in the room would not come on and they advised they did not run the air conditioning system in the winter. It would be nice to have the option to turn it on if we wanted to at night.
“good for the price and location”
good hotel and great location for the price and for downtown on Freemont street. love staying downtown. would stay there again.
“Dissapointed in hotel staff”
We have stayed at this hotel for the past 4 years and stayed twice this year. Our flight coming home was cancelled before we left and we had to book an extra night at the hotel through the hotel instead of expedia. When we checked in, the clerk said we were all checked in and no need to come back to the desk to check in for our extra night. So on our last night there we were out on the town until 2:30 in the morning and when we went back to our room, the keys would not work. We went to the desk and had to wait another hour, because the computers were down, to get into our room. When we went to check out and explained our dissatisfaction to the clerk ( Donovan ) she was very rude and was not willing to help us at all. We really enjoy staying at this hotel because of the location but I think they need to train their staff in customer service
“Decent, but...”
Decent hotel for the price. Decent room. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful - they allowed late check-out when requested. Two problems: the shower in our room and in the next room were so loud, they sounded like jet engines. And in Vegas, when people are coming back at all hours of the night/morning, that kinda sucks. Three mornings in a row, we were woken up by the jet engine showers between 4-5am. I'm sure I woke up our neighbors the next night at 4am. Makes sleeping a little tough. The other problem: the casino is unusually smokey, even for a Vegas casino. Stayed at the Fitz, Cali, etc - this floor is by far the worst. Not sure if it's a lack of ventilation or what, but man, it's bad enough to make my eyes water. If I wanted to gamble, I walked down the street elsewhere.
“Good Time”
Had good time will be back
“great hotel two years in a row”
We were so happy with our hotel stay last year after Thanksgiving that we decided to go back again. We normally switch hotels each year, but we voted to back to the 4 Queens. It is very clean and very central with the whole Downtown Experience. Plus, our room had a fabulous shower....it makes a big difference what type of shower you have and the shower itself was almost worth the stay by itself. Also, we had breakfast every morning at the Magnolia Restaurant and we enjoyed the food but more importantly, how good the service was. The waiters and waitresses always went above and beyond the call of duty to keep us happy. So, yes....we definitely enjoyed our experience at the 4 Queens and would gladly recommend it to others. P.S. The slot machines were very good to us 2 years in a row!!!!
“Decent Fremont Street Hotel”
Hotel staff was friendly and efficient. We checked in at an odd time so the first room they sent us to hadn't been cleaned even though they said it showed clean in their system. Second room was clean. One suggestion for the smoking rooms...when cleaning them...spray some Febreeze to help with the smoke smell. I expect a smoking room to have some odor, but some Febreeze sprayed on the bed cover , mattress and pillows (before putting on the clean sheets) would go a long way to cutting down the smell. The location right in the heart of Fremont Street was great. Overall, our stay was pleasant and I would recommend the hotel. It is a good value and the staff, from the front desk to the bar, were very friendly.
“Fun Spot on Fremont”
4 queens has to be my favorite place to gamble. Well it would be between 4 queens and Binions. They both are awesome places to gamble and also get your free drinks. I'm sure there are some places where you can stay for a little bit less money but why not spend $5 more and stay where you gamble at!
