“Great Value, Nice Spot to Stay”

Hotel Quarcino was absolutely perfect fo my stay! The room was a good size and the bed and pillow were really comfortable. It was close to downtown, but not on the main drag, so there was no street noise at night. (there were, however, church bells that chimed at 7:30 and 8:00, but that `didn`t bother me because I was up already). The rooms were immaculately clean. The staff were generally nice and helpful. And as an added bonus, there are beautiful watercolour paintings all over the halls and the stairwells. It`s like getting free admission to an art gallery! :-) Overall, I believe the value of this hotel was exceptional. I would recommend it to anyone.

“Matt”

Went here in mid october, found it easily enough - it's in an excellent location; really close to train and bus station and the lake - 2 minute walk max (no lake view, but i did get a lovely view of the adjacent hillside). Hotel is comfortable and clean and friendly staff - seems to be a family ran place. Only gripe i have is that a double room comes with two single beds, they do stay together alright, but i did sink between them once.
