"It was good to relax and enjoy the view."

"We stayed at this boutique hotel as a couple for two nights. It’s aesthetically pleasing with the modern spanish style decor. The staff was very nice and it was a great location with a view of the ocean and delicious breakfast. The only negative I can comment on is the steep road outside( don’t drive your low clearance car), rooms were small, and a few insect pests in the room. Also, it is a pet friendly hotel, which I appreciate, however, if so,have a pet relief area. Don’t let the guest dogs...

"I love this place and I’m looking forward to returning. The room pricing was very reasonable. The room was very nice and clean, parking was very convenient, the restaurants food and staff was outstanding. The hotel entire staff was amazing. The only issue I had was I went into the golf shop and was totally ignored. I walked around the small shop and was never greeted or asked if I needed anything and another young man walked in and he was addressed immediately I was disappointed and I walked...

"We were there during renovations. So noise was an issue. Restaurant was closed. Not as clean as I am used too at a highly rated property. Staff was very friendly and did best to make our stay comfortable. "

"Booked the room to celebrate my birthday last April. The facility is a little old, but the proprietor, Sal, was extremely nice and helpful. Crescent Bay is my favorite beach in Laguna, have been visiting there at least since the early 1970's, so having a place to stay there was a treat for me. It's not right at the water's edge, but the beach is just close enough to walk to and enjoy. The trolley was runiing so never had to move my car to get to the downtown area and mess with the parking there....

"The property was under construction, so they upgraded us to a room with an ocean view. The location is great for walking to downtown or the main beach. "

"I enjoyed the location and room was comfortable and clean. Only thing is I wish I knew the room I booked was in another building entirely not connected to the main hotel. The only way there was to walk down PCH and into a parking garage to go upstairs. This kind of took us by surprise along with the parking fee which seemed a bit excessive. Other than these, our stay was fine and no other complaints. Close to beach and Ralph’s "

"It was a perfect weekend I booked two rooms and both were extremely clean and comfortable. The decor was nice as well. It was my birthday weekend and the staff gave me a bottle of champagne, the hotel is a quick walk away from the beach and downtown."
