We chose this hotel in La Spezia to be close to the train that we were planning to use for commute to Cinque Terre. We ended up falling in love with this lovely cozy town: it felt like home. The room was spacious, so was the bathroom. The parking was paid, but the hotel took care of the arrangements. Breakfast was at the cafe, 2 spots, nearby: we liked better the one on a round about.

Loved that it was right by the train station and the staff was very friendly and helpful! On the flop side, the beds were pretty hard and we could feel the springs (even my daughter who weighs under 100 lbs). We didn't hear trains but the sound of other customers carries very well.

This hotel is very convenient as it is attached to the train station in La Spezia. It was clean and quite spacious for our family of 4. We were pleasantly surprised that we also have coupons for a small breakfast at a cafe across the street. The only downside was that it was a little noisy (as it is at the train station) and when we were there the lock on the outside door broke so it was tricky to get in at one point. Thanks for a great stay.

The location and staff were great! Easy access to trains and town. We felt safe and it was surprisingly quiet. The staff was lovely. The room was clean, elegant, and comfortable. The stored our bags after check out but before our train came. So wonderful!

Ok
The hotel has limited good qualities - it is clean and right beside train station so it is easy to get to if coming by train. We came by car and parking lot is about a 200 m walk away and costs 15 euros per night The trains are noisy up until about 9.30pm Breakfast is supposedly included but a voucher is given for a local cafe and only includes 1 croissant and a coffee. Have to walk up about 3 flights of stairs to get to rooms

Location excellent for access to train & cinque terra & still walk the town no problem. Small basic room but finally a kettle & tea 👏 Room a bit noisy with trains & a knock on wall at night needed ! Was clean linen etc & and all we needed. In comparison we had to pay €300 at Santa Margherita (it was 4*) This was value at €137 with Brekky included at cafe next door & straight onto the train.

A great place to stay if you are going to cinque terre. It is right at the train station and makes it so easy to get to and from all the villages. Did not hear the trains at all but did hear people out in the streets later at night. The room was excellent and the staff were very helpful with all our questions. Would definitely stay here again.

All the staff around are helpful, friendly and easily accessible. They even went the extra miles to assist. Staff was at site outside to greet us knowing our arrival time and brought us to the other property. A disadvantage is that the property has no elevator. However, every single staff is ready to help carrying the luggage. The place is convenient, just steps away from the train station, the main street etc.

Conveniently located near the train station. Very friendly staff - answered patiently all our questions about visiting Cinque Terre. Breakfast was available in a nearby location - Bistrot Mercedes. Awesome pistachio croissants! My only observation was that the room could have been cleaner.

A basic but fantastic hotel literally steps away from the La Spezia train station and at the top of the Main Street that runs through the historic district to the waterfront. The room was small but everything worked exactly as it should and was clean. The included breakfast was in the form of vouchers for a cafe across the street that was surprisingly good. The check-in process was very convenient using WhatsApp and the young lady that checked us in was very helpful. If your visit to La Spezia is to explore Cinque Terre, the best option is to buy the Cinque Terre day pass from the station (about EUR 18) and then just visit all of the villages at your leisure vs. being on a scheduled tour.

Very nice location. It’s actually part of the train station building TWO doors. Vehicle access to the hotel is ok even though it’s in a restricted zone because there is no camera. Or you can park in the garage below the station.

Confusing to get to….maps takes you to the wrong location. Go to the actual train station! Next to the burger shop there is a door. That’s the place! Have to walk up stairs with your luggage. Staff was super friendly and the room was good. Shower large for the space. We didn’t mind the train station directly out the window. They have good sound absorption. Like that the breakfast is at a local cafe too. Would stay again. Super for the price.

The hotel is right above the train station. The room is relatively quiet due to heavy duty windows. The staff is very friendly. Hotel also has free bikes, we enjoyed the quick tour of the city. Avoid room #5 which is adjacent to transformer and bathroom layout is awkward.
