Super modern, super nice place. Our room was huge and nice to have a separate bedroom for parents. Full kitchen, microwave, toaster and laundry in the room. Family Mart right downstairs and close to train station.

Minn Gion was amazing and we would definitely stay here again. The rooms were very spacious with comfortable beds, big showers and nice kitchen area. The room and entire property was exceptionally clean. There is a small laundry area in the basement with 2 machines that were easy to use. We did laundry twice with no issues. The sauna and spa was very relaxing and it was nice that you could reserve the whole area for yourself. The property is walking distance from a train station and there is a Family Mart right next door. There are tons of restaurants withing walking distance as well as temples and other attractions. Would definitely recommend Minn Gion to anyone who is looking for a lovely stay in Kyoto!

I stayed in a room that had laundry and a separate nook for the floor Mats with my two kids and husband. It was perfect. Pros: very close to shops and restaurants all walkable and quiet, as well as close a shrine/temple area. Very pretty area around hotel Laundry in suite Hotel area was spacious and really nice. Con: The cleanliness looks nice but in the bathroom shower area you could see previous water speckles showing it probably wasn’t cleaned well and we were short a pillow case and a floor Mat, so we used a couch cushion, when we moved it there was good and dead fly under it which wasn’t great. But even with that the room and area was amazing. Comfortable sleeping for 4-6 people for the room we got.

Loved our stay here. Very clean and self check in was actually quite easy. Thers a single washer and dryer downstairs but also a laundromat around the corner. Also a Family Mart attached tp the building - great for coffee and breakfast. Quad room is a bit tight at night but very doable with some organzation. Location is perfect - in a quiet srea but only a few minutes to get to the populated shopping area.
