“where else ?”
If you want to shop, appreciate local & international food, leisure stroll & look around daytime or night-time, during a short stay at K.L., then Westin is one of the best located hotel. It lives up to its 5-star rating. No second choice for us.
“Excellent location and services”
You'll love the pavilion mall front of the westin hotel,,,
“Shame on the Breakfast, the rest is just perfect!”
The Westin KL is located right in the middle of everything with easy access to city transport (monorail) and shopping centres. The rooms are clean and spacious and the service is superb as it can be expected from The Westin. The only sour point was in the morning, going thru breakfast is somehow a mayhem when going to Prego. The breakfast area is split over two level and with warmed food available (scramble eggs, sausages, etc) and stations to get cooked food (omelets, pancakes, etc). For a hotel the size and reputation of The Westin, this breakfast experience is really poorly managed with staff not sure on what they’re meant to do and not enough station to accommodate capacity. Be ready to ask for basic things like coffee few times and sometime even cutlery before you get it cause relying on hotel staff to bring it to you maybe a stretch. Until breakfast is resolved at The Westin – I would stay next door at the Mariott, a real pity for The Westin not being able to manage breakfast to their reputation!
“shine”
nice location
“I loved the hospitality provided by all the hotel staff - outstanding dep't: reception & concierge”
Very good service and extrememly convenient location
“Great hotel”
We really enjoyed our stay at The Westin. The rooms are very comfortable and the location is great, right in front of The Pavillion mall with many dining options and within walking distance of the Petronis Towers.
“Excellent location and hotel”
I highly recommend the Westin. The staff were polite and helpful and my 6 day stay was faultless. Very conveniently located near local eateries and directly opposite Pavilion, an amazing shopping complex.
“It's My Second Home!”
I visit Kuala Lumpur each year with family & friends. I always stay within the Golden Triangle (the main shopping area of downtown Kuala Lumpur). The Westin has been my hotel of choice for the past 4 years. It is in a fantastic location - opposite Pavilion Shopping Centre on Jalan Bukit Bintang. The Westin staff are very friendly & nothing is too much trouble. They make you feel so welcome. You must experience breakfast at The Westin because it's just 'out of this world' it is fabulous! I can't wait to return in 2011.
“not impressed”
Despite having reservation Excutive Club Floor upon check in was told I was in wrong area and go down stairs. I produced my confirmation slip even then no apologises. Overall staff (except Conceige) were very ordinary. Not what one expects from a hotel of the standard. I have stayed in other Westins however, will not bother with Westin KL. When ask for extended check out was granted until 2.00pm (big deal).
“Absoluely fantastic hotel”
We stayed at the Westin Kuala Lumpur for 4 nights and would definitely stay there again. From the moment we checked in the staff were extremely friendly and were only to happy to help with any queries that we had. The rooms were spacious and most importantly extremely clean. We dined a couple of times at the hotel restaurant Prego which was simply fantastic. We also requested a late check out as we had a late flight and the staff let us have a checkout of 3pm at no cost. The hotel is also in an excellent position for shopping etc. Would definitely recommend to anyone traveling to KL to stay here.
