“"Can't wait to go back"”
Extremely Enjoyble
“Would Definitely Stay Again”
A good overall experience, handy location with good food in the restaurant, we were fortunate to check-in early & not be charged as we had requested an early check-in through expedia, fairly spacious rooms & helpful staff.
“Highly recommended”
I stayed for 4 nights at the Ambassador and have no complaints whatsoever. The suite I had was spotlessly clean of a good size and with a very comfortable bed. The staff were very attentive without being pushy and were very helpful with local information. Although the hotel is situated some way from the centre of town it is only a 5 to 10 minute walk from the very efficient and cheap train station which will get you to most of the places of interest within 10 mins. If you wish to stay locally for the evening there are 5 or 6 restaurants within a 2 minute walk. Victoria station is recommended if you fancy a steak and the Oasis has very good middle eastern food. To put the above in some sort of context I have spent many years travelling in south East Asia and most of the rest of the world and without paying a fortune ( I paid $75 a night the very top of my range) you will do no better than the Ambassador.
“A little bit of Luxury”
Our stay here was fantastic, hotel staff were friendly and excellent service .We will stay here again and suggest it to our friends Hotel can arrange free mini bus to sights , taxi, tours We had a experience staying here
“YOU MUST STAY AT THIS HOTEL”
I stayed there for over three weeks but was not acknowledged by staff till last few days. One staff member was very rude and other visitors staying there left hotel and booked elsewhere specifically because of her open hostility to whom she thought where 'Americans" when we were not!! She spoilt what is an excellent hotel and I will go back without heistation and recommend to anyone, with or without children for both business and pleasure. Great manager, great domestic staff..one poor reception person spoilt it all. Rooms are huge, comfortable, great amenities in hotel and they really have an excellent breakfast. I will be going back this year I was so impressed by the people, the country, the city and this Hotel.
“Great value for money”
We stayed at Lanson Place Ambassador Row with our two children aged 5 and 6. The two-bedroom apartment was ideally sized with two bathrooms, a spacious living and dining area and plenty of storage and hanging space. The kitchen was old and not exactly clean. The bathroom was of a similar age and in need of updating. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and were able to answer all of our questions. It is a little out of the way but you can get a bus at a stop no more than 100m away to take you to the KLCC - Twin Towers (10mins) and then to the monorail, which is two stops from Bukit Bintang (KL's busy shopping/entertainment hub). The overall journey to Bukit Bintang takes around 25mins and costs around MYR2.60 per person (about 90c Australian). Breakfast was included and offered the usual fare. Nothing spectacular but adequate. Rooms were tidied daily as expected. Overall it is very good value for money. There is a supermarket just next door, a 24-hour shop across the road and some nearby restaurants. If you don't want to use the airconditioned public transport to get to Bintang Walk and China Town, taxis are available for between 10MYR and 30MYR depending on the time of day and mood of the driver.
“Spacious and neat”
The suite is spacious..for first timers..there's possibilities to get free upgrade to bigger suite if available..clean and neat..quite..free parking..price is good enough.. Tips: Do check in after 2.30 or 3 if possible..do not check in before that if u will end up waiting for your room.. Tips: Go to tripadvisor and view expedia price from there..sometimes there are discount coupon code from tripadvisor..
“nice”
Very clean, helpful staff. Our first room was smoky so we asked for another and upgraded.
“nice comfortable value, safe and friendly area.”
I have stayed in this service apartment two times before. My total stay duration in this hotel has been over 5 months. In my opinion it is time for some refurbishing if it is to compete with the newer service apartments in KL. But the comfort is hard to beat. They have the largest units i have experienced and with being able to walk to a international grocery store next door, you really can't beat it. One more thing, make sure your breakfast is included in your rate or plan on making your own. Our breakfast was not included and this cost a bit of money. There is NO REASON why breakfast should be excluded from a room in KL. It is included everywhere else it seems and this is my biggest complaint. It was always included when i stayed there before. I would like for them to improve some but I will stay here again, it is a very good value for what you do get.
“Poor customer service.”
Poor, almost surly customer service. Location good for walking to shops, restaurants etc. Rooms comfortable but clearly in need of modernising.
