"Overbooked"
My fiancé and I booked a suite to spend NYE in krabi, paying the premium that comes along with the holidays and a suite-type room, to be greeted at our arrival with the news of room unavaiblaibity due to overbooking. Even though the hotel arranged alternative accommodation for us, the experience was not the same and we definitively felt disappointed.

We stayed for two nights. Although it was the high season, the entire area was quiet and very relaxing. A fantastic stay.

"A very nice hotel, close to the beach."
The hotel is located in a nice quiet area and also near to lots of amenities. Just a slow walk will get you to food stalls, shops and to Ao Nang beach. Scooters are up for rent which cost only THB 200 for 24hrs. We took the pool access room which was very much worth it. Long story short, much recommended indeed!

"Just across from the beach"
Lovely clean hotel. Very safe. In need of a little upkeep.. but you hardly would notice because everything else is in good condition ;) Beach is just across the street. All shops/Markets are in walking distance, or cheap enough to take a tuk tuk.

"We loved lanta pura"
The hotel had only 10 guests as it was low season, this meant the pool was always empty and staff were available quickly, we booked this hotel for one night but stayed for three as they have us a good deal. I highly recommend staying here it's close to the pier but it's a good idea to rent a moped and drive to the better beaches.

"Ultimate bliss, ultimate relaxation."
The moment you step on the property of the Nakamanda Resort, you will leave the worries of the world outside its gates. Your blood pressure will drop immediately and even your steps and breathing will relax you. The architectual layout of the property will make it seem as if you are the only guest! Privacy, privacy, privacy! If you seek privacy/seclusion, you have come to the right place. It was voted one of the world's best small luxury resorts (only 34 villas). There are various types of villas to choose from (see their website and youtube). I chose a villa with my own personal outside Hydro Pool (#1901), well worth it! Full complimentary breafast included during your stay. As I stated before, even if there are other guests here you'll feel like it's your own personal home. All the guests here respect this ideal and the tone is always hushed throughout. Everything is taken care of while you are here down to the last detail. Spend 2 days here to completely unwind, it will refresh your soul. Indulge yourself at their Spa (steam room-30 minutes, jacuzzi-30minutes, massage-60 minutes). Everyone deserves to pamper themselves at a place like the Nakamanda Resort a few times in their life. Two thumbs up, 10 stars!

"Quiet and serene hotel near a beautiful beach"
We stayed there for just 2 days and had a very good time in the beach and the pool. Although, it is a little far from the Ao Nang Beach and other areas, we could get to those areas using local taxis.

    Krabi Hotel Guide

Krabi province is famed for its breathtaking natural beauty, with over 150 picture-postcard islands strung out in a ribbon off the south-west coast of Thailand. Visitors flock from all corners of the globe to test their nerve in diving, rock climbing, kayaking and jungle trekking. Some come to laze on the beach, sail or enjoy a spot of golf, while others are attracted by special events such as the annual boat-launching ceremonies or festivals of traditional culture. Whatever your reason to visit, there’s a wide selection of hotels in Krabi to round out the experience.

Ko Phi Phi, with its stunning twin bays of Ao Ton Sai and Ao Lo Da Lam, is one of the province’s most popular attractions. This archipelago offers some of the best diving in the area, while rock climbers are rewarded with spectacular views. Further south, the isthmus of Railay, the site of the annual Rock and Fire Festival, also has some challenging climbs. There are numerous shops in the area that hire out equipment and provide instruction for all levels of experience. Afterwards, revive your aching muscles in the crystal-clear waters of secluded Railay Beach

Once the exclusive preserve of the backpacking crowd, Ko Lanta now has more accommodation options, including several upmarket resorts, yet it’s lost none of its laid-back vibe. Some of the best beaches lie within the marine national park, which covers fifteen islands in the group. Take a sea-kayaking tour to view the limestone caves of Ko Talabeng, or dive among the coral reefs of Ko Rok Nai bay.

If you’re looking for somewhere fresh and different, away from the well-worn tourist trail, why not check out Krabi Town? This charming, friendly provincial capital has spent too long as a mere stop-gap en route to its more fashionable neighbours and is working hard to become a destination in its own right, with more than 377 Krabi hotels leading the way in welcoming visitors with open arms. Its famous night food market is one of the best in the whole of Thailand. Stroll along the old waterfront by Krabi Pier and feast on papaya salad, fried noodles, satay or fresh seafood, before watching the sun set over the Andaman Sea. What’s not to love?
