Rooms were small, but worth the price. And the owner was very helpful. I meet my brother and he arrived earlier. The owner didn't have two single rooms on the same floor, so he let me stay in a larger room, so I could be on the same floor as my brother.
It's a run down building in a bad part of town, but if you just need a place to sleep, it's very convenient, safe, and worth the money! If I went to HK again, I would stay there.
excellent customer service. nothing was too much trouble. only one black mark when I went to change foreign cash. I felt the staff reluctance to change for hk dollars and made all sorts of excuse.
For a hotel in one of the world financial centres, that was a shame.
Arrived at the Hotel after a South Eastern Asian Cruise. Flew in from Singapore. There was some serious construction going on near the hotel so the grandeur of our arrival was somewhat diminished. However on turning into the hotel the view was magificent. The hotel looked very garnd and imposing. Our cab door was opened by a beturbaned Head Porter and we were ushered into reception.
The receptionist took our ID and tut tutted saying we should not be at reception here but on the 19th floor and she left her desk and led us to the 19th floor. Unbeknownst to me my wife had booked us in a "Club Level" room because she had read that all Club Level rooms had a view of the harbor. It turned out that Club Level had a full time Concierge and a Club Room Lounge where there was Free booze and snacks fro 5pm until 8pm each evening and free breakfast in the morning. We worked out that this facility saved us in excess of $60.00 per day and could have saved considerably more if we had consumed more wine. The staff were 100% friendly and helpful. The rooftop infinity pool was absolutely stunning. This was one of the most pleasurable hotel stays in my considerable experience. I reccomend it to all. It is not a budget hotel but wort every penny.
This hotel is more than worth the cost, not only due to the quality of the rooms and amenities but also the excellent service. They don't nickle and dime customers for things like bottles of water in the room and even their minibar, although limited, was included in the room price. Besides this, there was free high speed internet access in the rooms and they also provided a smart mobile phone with unlimited local calls and unlimited international calls to select countries as well as unlimited 3G data including ability to set up hot spots--all this for no extra charge! This was particularly useful when I was out and about in the city since I did not want to use international data roaming on my personal phone.
Overall, this is a place that is run with a great deal of thoughtfulness about the needs of the customer that goes well beyond free amenities. They truly make you feel like a guest being respectfully served rather than a cash cow being brazenly milked as is regrettably the case with many so called "big name" establishments.
"Small hotel room but comfortable and good service"
I had stayed in this hotel 5 times. The hotel is well located and their services are good and keep improving through the years. Although the room is small but the bed was comfortable, everything needed was there. But I must point out that when I lied on the bed with my head lean against the wooden bench near the wall, I can see lots of dust. The fridge is not cold at all. Overall everything was good. I will pay 2 visits next year to this hotel again. Hopefully I can see more improvement on that. Will definitely recommend friends to stay there.
We stayed for nine days and the experience could not have been better. We would recommend paying for a harbour view room, newspapers and the daily supply of apples were free. A bus stop for the free transport to Kowloon MTR station for the fast line to the airport is fifty metres from the hotel. All the staff could not have been more helpful and check in and out is speedy. We hope to stay at the Sheraton again in 2015.
Great hotel and is clean and very comfortable and location is very central to everything including shops and all public transport.
I would definitely recommend this hotel but dont go for the breakfast, too expensive for the price you are paying and choices of food is poor and pathetic
