“Great location superb facilities”

Awesome place for fun and relax. Excellent location in relation to the town but beaches here this part of the year are not nice at all.

“Superb hotel treated like a king.”

Luxury, you really feel like you are at a luxury resort. Good pool and dinner each night on the beach was wonderful. From the moment you arrive at the steps of the hotel till you leave you are treated like a king. Lots of smiles and the buffet breakfast included means you do not need lunch.

“Great Holiday”

Rooms were great, nice & spacious. Staff were very accommodating & friendly. Loved the breakfast & the view from there is fantastic! The only negative thing I could say was the resort, especially around the bar area needs a little bit of work, also some of the banana lounges need replacing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Muang Samui & would definitely stay there again.

“Muang Samui Villas & Suites in Choeng Mon Beach!”

Originally we (family of 3 with 9 month old baby) had booked the Muang Samui Spa Resort in Chaweng Beach but on arrival we were immediately offered an upgrade to the Muang Samui Villas & Suites in Choeng Mon Beach less than 10min away by car. The complimentary shuttle service between the 2 hotels is great as you can book it at anytime. If you take a taxi always negotiate before you get in and don't pay more than 300Bhat between Chaweng and Choeng Mon. The Muang Samui Villas & Suites in Choeng Mon is a beautiful rather new (1 year old) resort compared to its 7 year old sister hotel in the heart of Chaweng which looks its age. Getting that upgrade was best that could happen to us esp. with a baby. We really do not recommend Chaweng with small children. It's very noisy at night and a nightmare to get around with a stroller. The rooms at Muang Samui Choeng Mon were beautiful, very spacious and comfortable. However, Mosquitoes can be a real pain when you're room is on the 1st floor. Staff was friendly and mostly helpful. Breakfast was okay, the buffet had a wide variety although the quality could improve as some of it seemed rather cheap. We would've expected to get real fresh juices. We once had lunch at the hotel restaurant and had to send back both, cocktails and the food (mussaman curry!!!) as it tasted pretty horrible and cheap. But, there's plenty of great restaurants on the beach and many, many restaurants in Bophut (400Bhat) and Chaweng. All in all, a great holiday!

“Nice rooms, terrible service”

Rooms are ok. Service is shocking! The building is run down and the hotel amenities are limited. Very over priced for what it is.
