“Very impressed”

Very impressed with FX hotel, friendly staff, very clean and good rates, nice shower and balcony, very good housekeeping too, just a short walk from the main street and away from the noise of the main street I would highly recommend this to any traveller, its not expensive ,nice breakfast, just ask for a north facing room as i got sick of hearing the message from the boxing stadium all night long, drove me mad and i wanted to go down there and rip out the power supply to the speakers (Not FX fault)

“visa run”

This was the least expensive trip on Expedia so I took it to wait for a visa. The trip was well worth it. The hotel staff were helpful and the food was good. There were some concerns about my booking when I arrived but we sorted it all out to our mutual satisfaction quickly. The pool is great. The location is wonderful - not on the beach but then no sand tracked into the room either!! The beach is about 6 minutes walk (if you don't do any shopping on the way) so no worries. The FX hotel is well worth a visit and I will certainly go back.

Area recommendations

the whole city is easy to get around and the island is too. Lots of things to do for kids, couples, singles and families.

“Absolutely the best”

This hotel was magical, i would go back anytime. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for an escape from the usual grind of daily life. We couldn't have asked for a better stay, we upgraded when we arrived and then were upgraded again to the penthouse for free. Was a beautiful room with an enormous jacuzzi. The staff are fantastic and very helpful. We went to the Full Moon Party and they organised a ride to the party for us. I highly recommend this resort to everybody.

“Nice clean hotel.”

Nice clean hotel, clean room, helpful staff. Never tried any of the facilities as there were too many bars with hot women 2 mins walk away lol
