“Great location”
Very handy to all you need ,our bungalow was small but needed a good clean.,which was a little disappointing .breakfast very good also ,pools are the big attraction nice clean and relaxing , Heard club noise most nights and we were well back from the road ,but I think its just Koh Samui now. Looking at other resorts along the beach, that look amazing on the Internet they are very run down in their pool areas so I'm sure they are not as good as they look .Maybe we were just unlucky with our Bungalow ,staff in early week just went through the motions with little interest but the rest of our stay the staff were good
“Relaxing Paradise in the Centre of Town!”
What a beautiful hotel! The tranquil setting right on the beach filled our days while the bars and markets on the other side of the hotel filled our nights. We enjoyed every second. The hotel went above and beyond to assist us in any way possible. The breakfast was definitely a highlight and the best I have ever had at a hotel. Having to pay a large sum per suitcase for storage until our flight wasn't impressive but everything else was beyond what we could have expected. I thoroughly recommend this resort and plan to stay there again.
“Average hotel at best”
while this hotels best features are its location which was great it was a old 4star hotel. Pillows were changed twice due to being to high but ended up using a rolled up towel, asked for several things missing from our room but only some replaced. The breakfast was very ordinary and more suited to the large number of european customers staying there. The restraunts wre very expensive compared to the others along the beach. We stayed in a premier room which was only just big enough for two people but our friends stayed in the next level down and the rooms were tiny and 4 people could not sit and talk. Ok hotel but Not 4 star and not value for money compared to others!
“Impressed”
Was a very good experience
“Very romantic place!”
Very nice hotel, we stayed in a cabana in the beautiful tropical garden of the resort. Good service and a perfect restaurant on the beach (build on the beach every day during the afternoon). Location is also perfect on Chaweng beach with everything within walking distance.
“Super Luxurious and affordable”
Superb service especially during check in/ arrival. You dont have to stand for queue for check in.We was guided to a waiting place, served with a cup of cold tropical juice and a nice cold refreshing towel. We stayed in a mini bangalow room, such a cute holiday hut. Huge bed with an extra bedding/ sofa bed. Bathroom has complete set of toiletries, comb, saver, hair dryer etc. There are 2 swimming pool. White sandy beach with good security service, but the sea water are not fresh with tides due to lagoons blocking the waves. We walked a few meters down for a better beach to swim around. Great breakfast, I love the traditional Thai chicken noodle soup served daily breakfast. You can find some cheap massage centres by the beach. For nice dinnings, there are plenty of choice around the neighbourhood. Conclusion, its still worth of staying, I would definitely comeback perhaps for our honeymoon :-)
“Very nice”
Very nice place, I was pleasantly surprised. Location was great - somehow it manages to be right smack in the middle of busy Chaweng but is set back far enough that it's perfectly quiet and serene. The grounds landscaping were the most lush and beautiful I've ever seen at a resort hotel. The pools were lovely, the food was great. You can walk right out of the front side of the hotel into the crazy chewang main drag, or you can walk out the beach side and have a really quiet walk along the beach. It's not a 5 star hotel - there were some minor issues like mildew stains in the shower, but overall I was really impressed with the quality for the money we spent.
“Great Value for Money”
We were plesentely surprised both by Koh Samui and the Chaweng Regent Beach Resort. THe Island is beautiful and the people is just lovely, Thais are just one of the friendliest and nicest people on earth. The hotel itself was great, check in was very quick and our room was ready and available eventhough we arrived way before 11 am as we had an early flight. When we got into the room the staff had put a baby cot (which we didnt request) but they knew from our reservation that we were traveling with our 4 month old son. THe breakfast was just fantastic, the pool and the beach just wonderful and the Thai style gardens around the hotel are very well maintained and give a very nice atmosphere of confort and relaxation. The only downsize is the temperature of the shower in our room, it was either very hot or very cold. Also, the prices of the restaurants are VERY expensive so you better eat outside if traveling on a budget, there are great options just by walking by the beach or alternatively go outside and walk by the main road.
“Excellent location and very good amenities”
Very convenient, great beach location and pool facilities to keep the kids happy all day.
