“nice boutique hotel”

I was quite happy with the hotel. The location is just 10-15mins aways from chawengs happening places. So you can enjoy all the bars, restaurants, clubs and spend a quiet and peaceful time at the hotel. Hotel staff were very cordial and helpful.

“Great hotel, excellent staff - would stay again!”

My wife and I had a wonderful time at this hotel. It is in a great location on Chaweng beach and is furnished to a very high standard. Lots of trees and plants make you feel like you are living in a jungle and it was a real treat to retire to our room at the end of the day. The breakfast buffet is also world class and the setting can't be beat. But the final word must go to the staff of Buri Rasa. You would be hard pressed to find a better and more dedicated bunch of people at any hotel anywhere. Friendly, pleasant and very helpful. 1st class service. We had a wonderful time and would stay again.

“I'll be back”

In one word, outstanding. My partner and I received a very warm welcome after all those hours of flying from Sydney. Brilliant start to an excellent stay. We were suprised to have stayed in the Deluxe garden court with dip pool after being upgraded from the Deluxe and Premium room. All staff were pleasant and always greeted everyone when they saw them. The service was excellent. The location of the hotel is good too with plenty of shops up and down the street but with little to no noise coming through into the hotel. Being able to walk out and dine on the beach is a nice touch. We had dinner on the beach during the full moon just past and it was wonderful. I'll definitely be back here next time I visit Ko Samui.

“Paradise! 5-star value!”

We visited Koh Samui last year and spotted Buri Rasa as a spot we'd like to try this year. We went on the cheap last year so Buri Rasa was more expensive, but we were not at all disappointed. We were thrilled with our room, the grounds, the staff, the location, the facilities, the beach, it was all perfect. I find it amusing that some reviews mention the high price of laundry - there is a laundry almost directly across the street that provided excellent 24 hour service at very reasonable prices. We have nothing bad to say. Our only mark that isn't "extremely satisfied" is comfort because the bed isn't 5-star quality, but the rest of the room and everything else about Buri Rasa, in our minds, is 5-star! While it was more expensive than last year's stay, I would still consider it an excellent value.

“One to remember”

We were very impressed with everything at the Buri Rasa, very high standard of facilities and very friendly/helpful staff. In particular the lovely touches each night when the beds were turned down and also the welcome in the room on arrival. We had the Saturday night buffet meal and were very impressed with both presentation, variety and quality. The hotel is right on the beach at the less busy, nicer end and the front entrance is on the busy street - so very convenient. We will definately stay again when we revisit Samui. Thanks

“I recommend the Buri Rasa”

All I can say was it ws lovely, in an excellent location with the even more excellent Ninja Crepes over the road which does fantastic food!! All the shopping is in walking distance and even the night life is walkably close without being right outside your door. The room was spotless and the service was so friendly and efficient. The only thing is the pool is a bit small but the ocean is right outside so it doesn't matter much. You can also get your own private dipping pool in your own private courtyard if you want which is a nice option.

Dining

Try Ninja Crepes! It is over the road from the Buri Rasa resort on Chaweng Beach and it may look rustic but it does the best cheapest food in Chaweng Beach and its open 24 hours 7 days a week! Fantastic Thai but also a bunch of western stuff for the fussy.

“Good hotel”

Very friendly staff. The hotel was very nice and location was great. My only suggestion would be to ask for a room closest to the beach as possible. My girlfriend and I stayed at the closest possible room to the street. At times, we could hear traffic from the street.
