Ah, the serenity
the house was comfortable for my adult family to stay whilst we had a family reunion in Nagambie. back verandah, kitchen table and front lounge were cosy places to gather and chat. Beds were large and comfy. The weather was cool, but the view was wonderful. Too cool to swim or canoe, but maybe next time we can!

Tranquil retreat
Long weekend by the lake. Enjoyed the woodfired heater in the lounge room and the view over the lake was beautiful.A 6 to 8 minute drive into Nagambie. Enjoyed walking over the old bridge from the property. BYO Coffee plunger and teapot. Easy going ambience was just right. Large and roomy for 4 adults (Age 60 plus)

great place on the water
we had an awesome weekend away at foxys lodge. plenty of heaps of grass for the kids to play including a trampoline. we pulled up our tinnys and did a bit of fishing. thanks foxy, hopefully be back soon

Foxy’s was perfect for our 2 night stay to attend a family wedding at Michelton winery. Would be a great spot for family holidays. Sad the bridge is not open though.

Million Dollar View Of Lake Nagambie
We loved our stay here! The view over the Lake is stunning, watching sunsets and the bird life. Being able to kayak around the lake and numerous islands was such fun, water lilys everywhere, swans, ducks etc. The view from the back garden is super pretty and endless. The location is very quiet and the house has everything you need. Make sure you visit the unique Kirwans Bridge and read the history, fascinating stuff. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank you so much:)

The property wasn’t worth the money We had a property in Silverwoods with Stayz and this was not wel
We killed 2 mice in kitchen area and the toilet was blocked there was a nest of Wasps in front door and carport area And went told the Kirwans Bridge was closed and we had to travel on a dirt dusty road to get back to Nagambie for the wedding and we have a expense car my husband was not happy Very low standard for Stayz More like a fish-mans retreat the house no luxury for the price needs a good clean and some work done on it everything out side was dusty and the BQ had mice poo sorry to write this but l thing that Stayz and owner need to know could be a nice place with some work and cleaning thanks

A little slice of heaven
We have stayed at foxeys place quite a few times now and everytime we love it. Great house for a family or groups of friends with lots to do and incredible sunsets. Very peaceful and relaxing and Adam is great to communicate with. Love love love this place.

Top shelf spot
Absolutely idyllic location, and perfect property for a family getaway. Kids loved the tampoline and ping pong, and was just a short drive for an awesome meal at Mitchelton. Would highly recommend - even for the sunsets alone!

Perfect spot for a long weekend or longer.
Great outlook onto the lake, 4 good size bedrooms. The wood heater was so warm and cosy with plenty of wood to burn. Kitchen a little small and out of date but it worked for us. We had 8 couples stay and thought 1 bathroom would not work but it did. Over all a fantastic retreat and value for money. 10/10

Great place. Great location right on the lake. Such a quiet area. Just lovely! The house has everything you need. Kitchen is tiny but meets the needs of a holiday. Comfy beds. Owner is great and easy to communicate with.

So relaxing!
After 4 days we left feeling very relaxed. Everyday we swam, used the canoe, (and our stand up board), fished, played table tennis and watched the sunsets. Wineries only 20 minutes away. Also brewery in town is worth a visit. Communication with host is excellent. We definitely would love to stay again. Thank you Foxy

Fun by the river
The place was simple but perfect for us. Comfortable and plenty of space for three kids, myself and the grandparents. It was right on the water and close enough to Nagambie and other towns to explore while still feeling far away from crowds. The beautiful and uninterrupted views of the water and the bird-life entertained us as much as the tennis on the big tv, and the use of kayaks has inspired a new hobby. Thanks so much, we’ll be back!

Lovely budget property with a sunset to boot!
We had a lovely time at Foxy Lodge. The owner communicated quickly and got on to any queries we had before our stay. He also made sure we were happy throughout our stay. The sunsets are beautiful and sitting by the lake is so peaceful. Overall it was a lovely stay in this budget accommodation. Note that one of the bedrooms requires you to go outside to enter it. This may only be a problem if you need to put children out there.

While we only stayed two nights, the property was perfect for what we wanted. Right on the lake with fishing off the back yard. The use of the canoe was an added bonus. Great little house. Clean and quiet. Definitely looking at going back for a longer stay.

Perfect spot. Lovely to sit on lawn for afternoon drinks and nibbles. Very old (small) kitchen but does the job. No dishwasher! ... so take your rubber gloves!! No air conditioner in 4th bedroom

Truly a hidden gem.
This kirwans bridge home was the perfect summer getaway for my family. 4 comfortable rooms, plenty of space on the property. And a pair of friendly, easy going hosts. The photo's don't do the lake view justice, a few steps from the house and you're casting a line in the water or boarding a canoe for a leisurely paddle. We had a fantastic time and would definitely return!

Overall, was a bit pricey for what we got. Some notable items were: - Smoke alarms not plugged in - Instructions on how to light the old gas Oven - Oven handle fell off - Oven door fell off - No "welcome note" outlining what was in the House and where things could be found. We ran out of toilet paper and couldn't find more in any cupboards in the main house. Not until the morning of leaving, when we went looking for a vacuum and broom, we found it in the back of a little room. - I think there is a small water leak somewhere as the pump from the lake primes all the time, dimming the lights in the house, very annoying - TV reception kept dropping out - A mat for wet feet at the door, we sacrificed one of our towels A couple of very easy fixes and it would be worth the money.

Stunning little gem!
Kirwans Bridge is a lovely, clean, very relaxing place. Brilliant views, stunning sunsets, Foxy was very helpful and friendly host. All we needed to take was food, drinks and clothes. Linen and towels were provided. We will be back in a heart beat. Either with our own families or again with the girls.
