Stayed at Kinka Beach for two nights late August early September 2023. The staff behind the counter were great with information regarding local tours. The cabin we stayed in, was immaculately, cleaned and a credit to the cleaner. I have never stayed in a cleaner unit. The park was great in keeping us informed of events that were to occur around the park during the day. Overall great stay and cannot complain about anything.

Very well presented property, nice facilities, right next to yeppoon coastline. Cabin had older style fittings, but it was spotless and comfortable.

We definitely love staying here. And have already booked again for next year. You really dont have to leave. They cater for some meals throughout the week. A few suggestions, to fit more curtains, update the mop. Unable to use it, the foam was just coming off.

This was a great family friendly park. The slide and pool were excellent. Just be prepared with groceries due to distance from Yeppoon. However, the fish & chip shop is less than 10 min walk and pizza was delivered from Yeppoon. We will come again.

We stayed there for two nights and chose the delux cabin. Really disappointed at what we paid for and certainly was not delux as they described it. More like basic cabins. The cabin's floor was dirty. The bathroom shower had mould - could have easily regrouted them. The couch was falling apart . The fridge's door was dirty. There was stains on the wall. Outside of the delux cabin had rubbish around and under the house. I would have thought it would come with washing mashine and dryer in the cabin but have to go to a shared amenities and pay $4.50 for a wash and another $4.50 to dry. You'd think by paying $200 extra, these facilities would be free and not have to share with others. The only thing we did like was the water park which my two sons had a ball. But other than that, not worth the money.

This is our second visit to Discovery Parks Coolwaters Yeppoon, staying in the cabins during Christmas school holidays which are quite cozy and are suitable for up to 5 family members. This year the water park has been redone reportedly due to new council bylaws. While the pool is still intact, the kids waterpark has been completely redone including a new mid-size waterslide suitable for all ages instead of the previous minimum age of 7 years old. It is quite enjoyable for adults as well as kids. Much of the cabins are showing a bit of age other than the bathroom and master bedroom which have been nicely refurbished however this is hardly a complaint. We already intend on visiting again next year during school holidays :)
