“Don't miss this Hotel!”
After a wonderful trip through the "Gap of Dunloe" we arrived at THE LAKE HOTEL. Our room was just beautiful with views of the lake, sitting area with fireplace, robes, slippers and cozy feel. We ate at the bar and then took a walk around the grounds and later, (from our balcony) watched an otter at play in the pond off the lake. We enjoyed a bottle of wine, in front of the fireplace and enjoyed every part of this wonderful place. Don't miss this one it-s special...
“5 Star experience, idyllic setting, amazing experience.”
Everything about the Lake Hotel made our journey worthwhile. The setting is idyllic with the view from the balcony transfixing. We could stand and watch the sun rise over the mountains, reflected in the lake in which the red deer were bathing. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, the service top drawer and the quality of food exceptional. Everything about this hotel was spotlessly clean, an amazing achievement given the hotel's age. The atmosphere was relaxing and unhurried. This is the first hotel we have ever stayed in where we have decided to definitely return at some point. I cannot speak highly enough of our experience, worth every penny.

“Lake Hotel Killarney”
Great hotel with a great private location! Deluxe room is as billed, beautiful, comfortable & luxurious. Balcony overlooking lake & ruins. Buffet style breakfast included. Free internet access. Would definitely stay here again!
“Would stay at this hotel again in a minute!”
We had a very nice stay at Lake Hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The meals that we had there were excellent. Breakfast Buffet is included with the room and was very good. Location is very good for site seeing.
“Fantastic Hotel”
As soon as we arrived we were given a complimentary upgrade with a lake view. The hotel room was so clean and spacious! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone! Breakfast was great too!
“Wonderful location”
although this hotel was a bit pricey, it is worth the extra due to its beautiful location. I got up in the night and there were red deer right outside my bedroom window! Lovely room and very good service.
“Comfort in a Beautiful setting”
The Lake Hotel is a classic, Anglo-Irish Hotel, dating from the 19th century, and set in a lovely park setting. It is designed for people who want to stay in comfort while visiting a world-famous setting, now a national park, and will make their own entertainment. And the hotel is good at supporting that comfort.
“Best hotel in Ireland”
The Lake Hotel is by far the nicest hotel I have ever stayed at. It was the highlight of our Ireland honeymoon. I have to say it was very worth it upgrade our room to the deluxe lake view, I highly recomend doing that for the few extra dollars it ends up costing. The bar and restaurant at the hotel are also amazing. The food was some of the best quality in Ireland and they have live music in the bar area a few nights a week. The hotel is a couple miles outside of Killarney, but it was only about 8 euros for a taxi ride to get in to town and well wirth it. There are lots of hiking trails around the hotel and when we were there was saw lots of deer roaming around the property. I can not say enough good things about this hotel, it is the best. I will be staying here again for sure on my next visit to Ireland.
