The Red House combines comfort with a sense of luxury. The villa is surrounded by VERANDAS and TERRACES where guests can enjoy their meals, a long-drink in the afternoon, some time for relaxation with a book or a portable device, or endless playtime with the children.

The terrace outside the kitchen features a large stone-table made from the world-famous Karystian slate. A variety of indigenous trees and flowers enrich the scenery, and the blush, deep red colour of the walls as well as the delightful VIEW TO THE SEA, make this the perfect all-day living space during the summer.

The villa is fully air-conditioned and includes exclusive amenities such as WIRELESS INTERNET inside and outside, covered parking, an espresso machine, a safe, satellite/cable television, a stereo system, a DVD Player, a natural-gas BBQ in the private terrace.

The eastern VERANDA overlooks the lawn, an ideal space where children can play under limited supervision. The interior is carefully decorated with exceptional pieces of traditional and modern design, and allows for plenty of natural light throughout the day. MONTOFOLI ESTATE

Montofoli Estate is a place of great importance since 400 BC. It is a legendary landmark on the island of Evia, in Karystos, that served traditionally as the private residence of the ruler of the area at any point in history. Important personalities have lived and been welcomed at Montofoli such as the Pasha of Evia during the Turkish occupation, king Otto of Greece, diplomats and officials that made up the high society of the time.

Today, Montofoli Estate is a boutique winery that produces awarded dessert wines according to the method that wine was produced in Ancient Greece, 3000 years ago. The vineyard lies on a classified archaeological site where findings are displayed on the exact place where they were discovered. A truly unique feature of the Estate is the magnificent staircase that runs through the vineyard and numbers 157 steps.

Guests can participate in the weekly estate tour during the summer months to learn every detail of the estate’s ancient history and present endeavours.
