Great budget accomodation
We had a great stay at the station. The staff were lovely at check in and the room was clean. It is budget accomodation so the beds were small and the decor was tired but we loved it. It’s perfect for a family or a group of people who don’t mind staying a little out of town. There were kangaroos out at night and the property was lovely to explore.

Weekday Snow Trip
It was a good value for money option for accommodation for a trip to Perisher in snow season. While the rooms were a little dated, they were large and very warm. The location of the resort was convenient to explore Jindabyne and to access Perisher and the Kosciusko National Park. There was a good and cheap buffet available for breakfast each day on site.

The breakfast for $16.50 is extremely average, much better food in town for less. The accomodation is clean, tidy, great shower pressure and always hot water. Would stay again, just avoid the food.

Run down and mold smell in room and bathroom. No noise dampening from adjacent room. It was like being part of the conversations next door.

TOO NOISY
The room was not suitable for a couple, this is totally hotels booking problem, as we just needed a double bed but got a family room. Next to families with kids and it was impossible to sleep.

The hotel complex is quite large and spread out giving it a tranquil atmosphere. It is located away from the away from the town center requiring a car to get around. The rooms are comfortable but could be better soundproofed. All the facilities were clean and functioned well.

Efficient and friendly staff. It's like staying in a townhouse. Large outdoor space. Children can run around. Many kangaroos lying on the grass, so tranquil. The beds are comfortable.

For the price, it was fine.
This is solidly a two-star place, but if you stay there with that in mind, then it won't disappoint. It would have been nice to have had wi-fi in the room, however. I would have been willing to pay a surcharge for that. The breakfast buffet was decent in both quality and price, and the atmosphere in Happy Jack's Tavern was pleasant.

Hard to sleep
Room was noisy as all the floorboards squeaked in that room and the rooms around it. Could hear the people next to me moving around all the time, every bump etc. Also very hot all afternoon until late evening. No fan. Room was more like a bunkhouse.

The place is good but not the hotel/motel roo stay
The room was too bad and the bed's were too used and old with spring mattressess giving you definite back pain the other morning., Just be careful if you are already struggling with back pain.

Great basic accommodation - Clean and Warm!
Stayed here for two nights for a quick snowtrip. Big room, plus nice big drying area. Separate toilet and shower access means two people can use the bathroom at once. Good access to Jindabyne and the mountains. Always a little noisy, but not too bad. Plenty of hot water. They just need a DVD player!

Room felt claustrophobic. No window in bathroom that was the size of an airline bathroom. Did not change sheets or towels. Did not provide bathroom amenities. Staff were not helpful

Is this a dorm, a barracks or a shared cell?
If you like the idea of a basic boot camp, this is the place for you. Dormitory style accommodation that may have never been properly cleaned with laminated chipboard as the furniture of choice. Beds are firm, and if you request a double don't expect to get it. Thankfully the bar and cook-your-own steak places are pretty good, which is just as well as you won't want to spend a minute longer in the room than you have to. Genuine 1 star accommodation, bring your own cleaning products.

Big Mistake
On arrival, cheerful efficient staff, but all downhill from there. The accommodation is best describes as "hostel type" accommodation, worn uncomfortable beds and bedding, inadequate heating, thin walls between units, and an all you can eat buffet breakfast that encourages dieting during the stay, and just about an inedible steak in the bistro. It is the last last minute option, and a never again once experienced.

Room servicing consists of emptying the bins only. Would a quick vacuum be too much to ask for? Also beware of the massive traffic jams getting into Jindabyne and on to the snowfields on weekend mornings. Took over 30 mins to get onto Kosi Rd from Barry Wwy.

Great accommodation without the high price tag.
Great location for those wanting to go to the snow but without the bid expense of added accommodation prices. The Station has its own pub with daily events and a fire place to sit back and relax after a day on the snow.
