"The front desk lady was not nice. When I asked if the hotel can help to call a taxi tomorrow morning to airport, she simply stated no such service. During the check-in, never saw her smile feeling you are not welcomed to this hotel. The next morning, the gentleman in the front desk helped me to call a taxi easily."

"I really enjoyed my stay during my 24 hour layover in Xiamen. The staff were very kind and helpful, although my Chinese is not very good they still understood and helped me in Chinese which i really appreciated. Alrgough they could speak English if needed. The restaurant still made dinner for me even though I came in 5 minutes before closing and no one else was there The TV in my room was too low to be able to hear about 25% of the time. "While I was initially a little disappointed by the small and old hotel lobby, I changed my mind once I checked into my room. The view from my room was phenomenal. The bed was very comfortable, with special buckwheat pillows, and I slept very well during my stay. The bathroom also had a useful smart toilet. These two things—along with the friendly and helpful hotel manager, Mr. Li— made my stay at this hotel worthwhile."
