This is a nice motel near downtown Jackson and I-55.

“convenient location”

Convenient location to downtown and coliseum. Hotel is not new but room was clean. Requested room away from interstate so road noise was not a problem. Rooms open to parking lot.

“Great front desk service, but not recommended”

We arrived on 12/22/2010 with my wife and two kids. The facility was not up to date. The lobby floor was slippery and the hall way was filthy. The hotel room carpet looked old and dirty. Even worse the bathroom light was out. Fortunately the front desk (forgot her name) was very helpful. We were offered to switch to a different room, which we gladly accepted. The carpet still looked old and dirty, and luckily everything else worked. The beds were not particularly comfortable but acceptable. The gym was basically a single small hotel room with severe pieces of equipment piled in. I wasn't even sure if they all worked. I didn't bother to try because I was afraid I might hurt myself. The hotel provided complimentary breakfast in the lobby area, but there was not really much in the menu. When we were there next morning around 8:00 am (the breakfast was serviced till 9:00 am, supposedly) the only things left were several miniature muffins and cereals. Overall, we were disappointed with this hotel. The only positive during our stay was the front desk clerk. She was very apologetic for the inconvenience and tried her best to make sure our stay was as pleasant as possible.

“Not pleasent at all!”

There was dead roach on the carpet when I walked in and the room smelled like smoked and heavy mold. Also, breakfast area had very strong smell that bothered me. Would not recommend it to my friends.

“Dirty rag on bathroom door knob; bug on cointer”

We noticed right away we were short a rag then found it on the bathroom door knob. The hotel looked very nice from a distance but severe foundation problems. Bugs in the room, ac did not work properly, walls were thin, neighbors tv woke me up at 3 am, along with other noises at other times. Very dissatisfied!

“Worst Experience I have had at a Hotel”

They did not have a king suite as I had requested. The first queen room had hair on the floor in the bathroom, cigarette burn in the comforter, the table had something greasy/oily on it. The second room the air conditioner froze up in the middle of the night. We received a call asking if the room was okay, I replied yes, and then she called back to tell us there was a boiling ban in the city. The next day I found out we were not checked into the system.

“Bed bugs!”

I do not recommend this motel, I was very disappointed. First of all I asked for a wake up call and never received one, the towels were wet and dirty folded in the bathroom, and I'd that wasn't bad enough. I woke up at two in the morning and had to take a bath due to itching. Turns out it was bed bugs.
