“Great location for college town experience”

I stayed at this hotel while touring colleges with two teenagers. It was within what's considered "the college town" and was perfect for the kids and I to experience what they would be surrounded by if they chose one of Ithaca's college's. The only reason I gave it a 3 for cleanliness was there was a pair of dirty socks left from a previous traveler under the table. Other then that, it was perfect.

I had some doubts about this hotel because other reviews had remarked that it was run down and somewhat grimy. But they may have renovated or updated the decor because when I stayed everything was clean and pleasant. The lobby was impressive and the room was spacious and nicely decorated. My only disappointment was that they don't turn on the sound on the TV in the bar so I couldn't watch the World Cup game there. Several of us patrons asked the manager, but he said they can't tun on the sound without paying a big licensing fee.

We got it on an unpublished rate so we didnt know what we were getting until we paid and were committed. We were sure it would be low quality for the price we paid but were very happily surprised at the quality, cleanliness and comfort of this hotel. We will go there again

The staff was just courtesy and professional. They were helpful and very welcoming. The room was clean and very comfortable. Our stay at this hotel was a pleasant experience, walking distance to restaurants and quick drive to Ithaca college. I would highly recommend this hotel and would go back if I can get room.

Great location near The Commons. Very friendly, helpful staff. Our floor just prepped for hotel inspection. Room was very clean and nice. Bedding and pillow options very comfortable. Would definitely stay there again. Complimentary shuttle to the College campuses.

Loved their internet and business center which is free. They were highly responsive to any requests. Room is clean. Free parking. Was also conveniently located in the Commons and within walking distance of the person we were visiting. The free shuttle that is available on demand really helps you save on transportation around campus. Even though we had a rental car, we used the car on occasions where we weren't sure we would find parking in campus for busy graduation weekend. Wish they had a courtesy breakfast in the morning though.
