“Can't wait to go back”
Bathroom need updating
“One of the Best Hotels we Stayed”
I can recommend this hotel from all aspects and one of the best in the world, with value for money. Well located, beautiful views and superb service and food.
“reasonable loaction but require taxi to all locations, good view of the Bosphorus”
reasonable location but requires taxis everywhere....slightly older hotel and not quiet same standard of Howad swiss as have seen elsewhere.... executive floor breakfast a little basic and needs more variety considering it is inclusive. staff friendly and help full where to go and what to do....
“Overrated, expensive, snoppy and hard to access on foot”
I can tell that the Swissotel had better days in the past and they try to cash on that. It is very expensive through and through. Worst part for me was the location of the hotel. It is on top of a large hill with a winding road that kills you on the way up and boards you to death on the way down. We ended up spending a fortune on taxis to get around or just to go down to the tram or bus stations. There are no nearby restaurants or shops, so you are mostly stuck with the hotel restaruants which are very expensive and the food slightly above average. Hotel is very close to Dolmabahce palace and the Kabatash pier. But to me this is not an added value because you can't just walk to these attractions, you have to take a taxi anyway. Hotel gardens are beatufil and the view from the room of the Bosphorus and surrounding hills is amazing. Too bad there are no balconies. Staff are mostly snoppy, especially the conceirge who treated customers as if doing them a favor.
“Best Ever!”
Loved staying here, got a beautiful room with a view of the Bospherous. Everything was so agreeable here , especially the location. The staff were very helpful and friendly too.
“The Bosphorus Istanbul best hotel in the area.”
The Bosphorus Istanbul best hotel in the area.
“Istanbul's Finest”
One of the true 5 star hotels in Istanbul, view is amazing and service is incredible. Will definitely stay again
“If money is not a problem :-)”
The Place is beautiful, service is excellent, food & beverage quality is top notch. Location is convenient but not for walking, except to the park. Food & drink were expensive, and nothing was free, not even the small instant coffee envelopes in room. So, if fifty dollar breakfasts and twenty dollar Scotchs are in your budget...It is the place to be in one of the prettiest capitals anywhere!!!
“Great Location/Great Service!”
The SwissHotel Bosphorus is very conveniently located in the hills of Tahksim neighborhood, in the old city of Istanbul. The services provided by SwissHotel are commensurate with those you'd expect from any 5-star facility. The Spa facilities at SwissHotel were absolutely fantastic; but! if you want personal services in the spa, you must book in advance! Best suggestion is to book services for every day of your stay; then have the courtesy to cancel in the morning if you change your mind. Great restaurants/bars available; a tour bus will pick you up at the hotel and deliver you to a central tour gathering point; then deliver you directly to your hotel in time for dinner. Rooms were very clean and well-maintained. The TV and Internet service in-room is troublesome, though. Suggest using the business center off the lobby for internet access. Overall very high marks and I will be back!
“Very good hotel in Istanbul”
I've stayed at the Swissotel and recommend. The rooms are nice, service is attentive and the view of the Bosphorus from the rooftop bar is incredible. Pity the beer was $10 a bottle...
