“Best place we stayed in Turkey”
This was an excellent quality hotel, especially for the price that we paid! It's on a quiet street, yet close to shopping and night life on Istiklal St. It's walking distance to the Tunel Funicular. The Turkish bath was wonderful, my wife and I were able to go into the bath together and we had the place to ourselves. Staying at the Pera Rose, you will actually have access (if you ask) to their sister hotel just a block away, which has a bigger bath, a sauna and a pool. The breakfast buffet had a great variety and was delicious. Staff were helpful and professional, they even helped us carry our bags up to the room. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
“Charming Boutique Hotel in Beyoglu.”
I realy enjoyed this hotel. Everyone was professional and some of the staff were quite helpful. The superb breakfast, mini-spa and biz-center were perfect. This is also my favorite neighborhood in Istanbul. I had a small inside single room w/o a view; but it was handsome and very quiet. MLB

“Lovely hotel for a few night's stay”
Hotel Pera Rose was a lovely hotel, and a nice area for shopping!!The hotel was clean and service was friendly. The room was good- reasonably sized for Turkey! This side of the city was much cleaner & Western-a sharp contrast to the old side. We did have trouble with locals & taxi drivers knowing the address/location of the hotel.
“Great value smart hotel”
The Pera Rose Hotel was great value in an area of high priced large chain hotels or slightly run-down smaller hotels. Recently upgraded, clean, elegant, small hotel. Excellent service, large, varied breakfast included and all for a very reasonable price. Take advantage of the first class spa centre and hammam in the basement. Good location for Taksim Square, room had a view over to the Bosphorus. Only criticism would be that my bedroom walls were quite thin.
“Excellent location, friendly staff, nice beds”
We stayed over a weekend, the staff were all polite and helpful (go to the Turkist restaurant they recommend, it's good). The hotel cannot be better located, really close to the nightlife, but the hotel is quite quiet considering. Loads of bars and places to eat plus clubs are all to hand. The buffet breakfast was good and the rooms were clean and comfortable. There was only a small problem with the automated alarm call on the day we left but this was due to the fact that it hadn't self-adjusted for the clocks going forward. So beware. Would stay here again. Really nice.
“Good Tourist Location”
We stayed in a suite which was why I rated the comfort of the room as 5 but our friends had a rooom which they thought was slightly small but adequate. Apart from this I think the hotel was well located for our needs. Galata tower and Istiklal Street was only 5 minutes walk away and the other main tourist sites were about twenty minutes away via the Tunel and Tram. Just remember the Tunel closes at 21:00hrs.
“It's a nice hotel with a nice location”
The hotel is based in a very good premium location it's clean and cozy negative points: -the hotel is very small ( i would rank it as a 3 stars hotel) -breakfast didn't change for full 7 nights -they have 2 types of room one of them is extremely small room and i asked to change it and i got a bigger room Positive Points: -Location location location -breakfast is nice -Ppl are very helpful and friendly
“Very satisfactory”
We stayed at the Pera Rose last week for 2 nights. The hotel is very clean and comfortable with a friendly and helpful staff. I was not bothered by the nearby construction as I left early in the morning and returned late in the evening, but I imagine it could be bothersome if you are a light sleeper etc. The room did smell of smoke even though we requested a non smoking room. The location is pretty good, and the area is very safe. The pay TV was a bit of a nuisance, but the complimentary Turkish bath and dry sauna more than compensated for it. There is WiFi in the rooms, its not very fast but its there. We stayed in room 1202, it was very spacious, but be careful: I heard another guest complaining about the size of his room to the reception desk. Some rooms are bigger than others. All in all, we had an enjoyable stay and considering the reosonable price, this hotel has my recommendation.
“Nice hotel, very centrally located.”
We booked a superior room with a queen-sized bed. The room we were allocated was spacious with a separate living room area. It was clean and comfortable. The hotel itself is very well located for restaurants, bars etc, being only a 5 min walk from the main shopping street. I was a bit worried about staying here after the mixed reviews on Trip Advisor, but my fears were unfounded and I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.
