“Nice experience - yet expensive”

Had a nice 6 days stay in Innpera. pros of staying there are definitely location, And nice breakfast. cons are the price and the fact that the staff is not speaking English well. I reserved a triple room for my family but ended up with a double room with an extra bed that eats up more than half of the empty space of the room. Overall I would say I am satisfied knowing that this is the peak season so price could be better at other time of the year.

GOOD *Excellent location - meters from Taksim Square *Clean, Modern venue *Free WiFi in Rooms *Staff completed check-in/out promptly *No objections over early check-in (was at the hotel at 7AM) *Probably best for price in area *Staff cleaned and changed towels and bedsheets daily (as expected) NOT SO GOOD *Morning Buffet is not bad, but it would have been great to have live stations for eggs/pancakes. Otherwise it gets quite repetitive, and quality isn't so great. *Lobby staff are not so positive and welcoming as you'd expect. But maybe it's a cultural thing.. *Though it may have been an temporary maintenance issue, the shower water kept changing temperatures..Eg. turned from warm to freezing to boiling hot, over and over.. *What surprised me the most: No tissue box in the room, even after you ask for it! You'll have to settle for toilet paper, or buy your own! SUMMARY If I would visit Taksim again, I would stay again at this hotel.. Probably without the breakfast though..

First of all, i have never reviewed any hotel as i travel a lot but i do not have time but only this time and for the first time in my life i am writing a review for any hotel and that is for Inn Pera. It Has one of the worst service, staff and rooms for the price you pay. I stayed here for 4 nights with my wife. For 2 nights my AC did not work ( it is hot in turkey ) When i complained the front reception guy, he came upstairs and said i cannot do anything, wait till tomorrow for some technician. I asked him if i can get a new room and he said i am busy , when i have time i will look into it.I was shocked and when i asked him i cant sleep, its warm here he started abusing me in Turkish. I was SHOCKED. I complained to his manager and Manager reply was that he is alone on duty and maybe stressed out that's why he said it but he does not mean it. I was shocked again. Then they have gave me a small room while i paid for the big one and i requested them to move to be to a bigger room, they replied change the hotel if you dont like it and we wont refund you your money. Now you can imagine, their attitude and behavior. Location is also not at good spot because it is in front of biggest trash boxes area and it smells in the food and in rooms of alcohol, smoke and dirt. We moved to different hotel.
