“really impressed with the adequat service and politeness of the staff”
We really liked the suite from all points of view except, perhaps, the price which was quiet high. Defenitelt will be back and recommend it to our friends.
“Great Location and Value, hidden Gem”
This is hotel is in a great location. If you like to walk, you can get to anywhere within an hr walk.
“Clean and comfortable place to stay”
The hotel was clean and comfortable, very close to the SwissOtel where I was attending a conference. The breakfast was very good, and the service was excellent. There were restaurants and cafes in the area. However, the nearest metro station was a bit of a walk. If you're going to Istanbul to visit the old city, this is a bit far away, but if you are there for business, have a conference at a nearby hotel, or for other reasons, the hotel was excellent.
“Great Hotel on a Great Deal!”
I booked this hotel not really knowing much about places to stay in Istanbul. I was recommended to stay in this area or Taksim. Found the hotel for an incredible deal, and really glad I choose Housez. I had a suite, which was plenty of room, and a nice view of the street (although noisy from the street traffic if I kept the balcony door open). The bathroom was incredible...I wish I had that nice of one where I currently live! The staff was incredibly nice and friendly. I only had the breakfast on the morning I checked out, but it was a great way to start the day. The location is a bit removed from the main touristy sites, which I liked, but very close to the beautiful Macka Park and walking distance to Taksim Square. It's also easy to walk down the hill to the bus stop or ferry location. I really like the public transportation systems in Istanbul, pretty easy to navigate and cheap. Cabs are also very easy to get, so I never felt bothered by the hotel's location. Definitely recommended - good for all: singles, families, and couples, especially if you want lots of space.

Twice as a avereage hotel room, extra clean, lovely polite staff, well thought about customers need, even Ipad charger was available on request.

Hotel itself was excellent. Great for conference centre. A bit far from main tourist sites, more suitable for business.

Housez is a well run clean and comfortable establishment. Don't expect any trimmings but that's not why one would choose this place. The location is excellent, the staff helpful and friendly. The TV was outdated for a place that is otherwise modern. The breakfast is perfectly good but very overrated in the reviews I read before going there. All in all Housez is a very satisfactory place to stay and I would recommend it for the practical business or leisure traveller who doesn't want to spend a fortune on expensive hotels.

I stayed with my wife for 3 nights at this hotel in Spe. 2011. For us, the hotel did not have the best location especially it was up the hill, so you have to climb up to reach it if you walk. The lobby does not exist, small table for registration. Small dinning area that is suitable for the size of the hotel. The whole hotel is apparently newly renovated, the room was spacious and clean. The street next to the hotel is very noisy and the windows are not sound proof so as if you are in the street. They provided Shampoo and hand soap from a dispenser. The breakfast was very average, just food to fill your stomach. I think for little more money you can stay in a much better hotel with even nice view.
