“good value for money”
hotel located in nice place. near to tram station 2 min in walking. not to far from city attactions just to stops by tram. would like to visit again
“Big clean rooms”
Hotel was clean, spacious and close to the Lalelli tram stop. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Don't belive everything you read about dress code in Istanbul. Its a very modern city and getting hassled from guys is no different from Paris,Barcelona,London or New York!

don't miss out on eating at the sidewalk cafe' attached to the Hotel...the food was excellent..and a great people watching spot!!
“A little noisy but good. Snubbed at Hotel's Disco.”
Construction right across the street made the area messy and loud but Hotel Zurich overall is a nice spot. But, if you are a single man, you will not be able to get into the Disco inside Hotel Zurich. I was a paying customer and was snubbed because I did not have a woman with me.

Generally not standard expected from 4* hotel. Staff unhelpful. Restaurant used only by a handful of guests which reflects the poor quality of food and service. Buffet breakfast limited and extra charge made for fruit juice! Pool is very small - only really suitable for half a dozen children. Hotel is situated in Bazaar Quarter which is in old part of city.
“Hotel was not in 4 star standards”
It was very disapoiting that Expedia rated this hotel as a 4 star hotel. The service, food, and comfortness of this hotel fits her as two star hotel.
“Not as good as the photos!”
The rooms we saw were not as up-to-date as the photos on the website. Areas are being up-graded but those that haven't been are a bit dingy and smelly. I was surprised that freshly squeezed juices and omelette or scrambled egg were charged extra at breakfast, so the only juice available included for free in the breakfast was cherry juice. I hadn't realised that although the swimming pool was free to guests the other facilites, steam-room, sauna incurred a charge.

“Definitely NOT a four star hotel”
This is posted as a four-star hotel: however, virtually none of the staff can communicate in English. All the extras are highly overpriced: coffee in the bar $4.00, little bottle of wine in the minibar 8 Euros. The place feels like it was a decent hotel 30 years ago, but now it's way past its prime. I am normally highly satisfied with Expedia's recommendations, so I don't understand how this slipped through the vetting process.
