“The best hotel for that price”
Really I usually do not comment anything regarding my trips, but this hotel is exceptionally different, perfect location, nice, clean rooms, the breakfast is wonderful and most of all very helpful and friendly staff, I will definitely go back to this hotel and recommend to everyone.
“Great location, very nice clean little hotel!”
Was a great hotel, small rooms but very clean and quiet. There was a mini bar but no tea/coffee facilities in the room. Great location, 1 street off the main drag and the dining room and roof terrace have great sea views. Breakfast was quite nice and fresh.
“Excellent service and great location”
Arranged for a cab to pick us up at the airport even at 2AM. Very courteous staff at the reception as well as at the restaurants. The Rooftop bar has amazing views of the Blue Mosque as well as the Bosphorus bridge (recommended at night time). The hotel is clean, centrally located to all major attractions. We walked everywhere (including the Galata Tower!) from this location. The trams are a minute away to get to Taksim square. We were very pleased with the experience and will definitely stay here when we visit the next time.
“Mina Boutique Hotel is Excellent”
Our stay at this hotel was on September 4, 2010. The manager was very friendly and helpful. We asked him by email to arrange our pickup at the airport and transfer to the hotel. (The cost of the transfer was added to our hotel bill.) When we arrived at the hotel, he checked us in quickly and the bellhop helped us with our luggage to the room and showed us how everything worked. The hotel is "cute as a button". The room was small, but lovely and very comfortable, clean and quiet. They also have a roof-top restaurant with beautiful views of the Aya Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkopi, and the Bosporus. We enjoyed a lovely dinner at the rooftop restaurant and watched the sunset. Breakfast the next morning was included and was very nice. The hotel is conveniently located in old Istanbul and is within a 5 minute walking distance of the Blue Mosque, Hippadrome, Aya Sophia, Grand Bazaar, and underground Cistern. The manager provided us with a map and directions to visit the sites. When it was time to leave, the manager called a taxi and instructed the driver to take us to the cruise port. The manager told us how much the taxi would be so we wouldn't be taken advantage of by an unscrupulous driver. Although we only stayed one night, we were sorry that we had not elected to stay longer. We will definitely choose this hotel again if we visit Istanbul in the future.
“Perfect place to stay.”
The hotel was really beyond my expectations. Extremely friendly staff, clean rooms, perfect service ( i would say 5 star service).Breakfast was reach and was offered in a spacious room overviewing Marmara sea,but dinner quality very average.Eather way service was perfect.I think I ll stay there again in a future visit to Istanbul.
“Excellent hotel”
Only thing we feel could be improved is that there could be hot food on the breakfast buffet. There was a variety of cold foods only. Of course had hot tea and coffee. Otherwise, it was such a pleasant place to be, and location good.
“Perfect place to stay in Istanbul”
We were very impressed with Mina Boutique hotel and the staff there - it was in a perfect location, close to many of the sights and the staff couldn't have been friendlier and more helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.
“Excellent choice for Istanbul sightseeing”
This was my 3rd visit to Istanbul and my favorite hotel. Great location in easy walking distance to Grand Bazaar, KumKopi fish markets, Suleymani, Little Aya Sofia, and Sokulu Mosques, in addtion to the more traditional tourist sites of Topkaki Palace, Blue Mosque and of course Hagia Sophia. Also near two good Turkish Bath houses and one block from the Tram. Hotel stafff were very friendly and helpful, and didn't try to sell me tours or dinner shows! Breakfast was typical Turkish fare enjoyed with a dramatic view of the Blue Mosque, Sea of Marmara, and Constantine's Column. One flight up from the restaurant is the terrace with a panoraminc view of Istanbul. Small but very nicely appointed room. Incredibly well-priced and comfortable for a 6 night stay.
“Excellent location and value for the money””
We stayed at Mina Hotel & it was a very pleasurable experience, which started from the arrival to the airport. We ordered an airport transfer with Mina and the driver patiently waited for 2 hours as our flight was delayed. We were taken to the hotel in a spacious, cream color leather-seats van. As we entered the lobby, the receptionist greeted us by name (they coordinated with the driver arrival of guests). Small gesture but it showed attention to detail. We received our keys, city tour tips & map and were escorted to the room without delay. The staff was always helpful and ready to answer any questions. The room was nice - it looks exactly as shown it on hotel website, no suprises here. Mina has very comfortable beds and very soft bedding. The bathroom had a bathtub and complimentary toiletries, towels and sheets were changed daily. The restaurant on the 6th floor is rather small in size, but provides a spectacular view of the Bosphorus and decent breakfast selection. The rooftop terrace was also lovely place to enjoy breakfast at, however, beware of seaguls! If you leave your plate to go get smth from the restaurant again, you may come back to a plate missing some sausage! The terrace, against our expectations, was rather big - it went all around the roof of the hotel building. The view was wonderful The hotel is conveniently located at the Sultanahmet region of Istanbul and all the major tourist attractions were basically 5-10 minutes walking away.
“A great choice”
Very courteous and friendly staff and the most comfortable hotel bed I've slept in for a long time. Central Sultanahmet location and double glazed so not much outside noise could be heard from a very noisy city. Breakfast was sufficient, although had to pay extra for fresh juice and a wider cooked selection. Room was on the small side with not much storgae, but just about sufficient for our 3 night stay. Would recommend for the price.
