Reconstructed as a 19th century Ottoman Mansion, Dersaadet Hotel is a distinctive, small hotel in Sultanahmet, at the center of historic Istanbul.The hotel is decorated in traditional late Ottoman/Turkish Style,complemented with modern amenties such as wireless internet access throughout the hotel and in-room controlled air conditioning.
Dersaadet has a Roof Terracé which serves as a lounge/cafe exclusive for the hotel guests. Hotel's complimentary buffet breakfast is served on the Roof Terracé with stunning views of the Marmara Sea on one side and the Blue Mosque on the other.The Roof Terrace has open-air and glass-enclosed sections and is open year round.
Dersaadet also offers multilingual staff, concierge services, dry cleaning/laundry services, airport transfers( surcharge).
Rooms
Hotel Dersaadet Istanbul has 17 guest rooms, including one Room with a Turkish-bath, two Dersaadet Corner Suites, and the Sultan's Penthouse Suite.
Each accommodation is unique, decorated in traditional Ottoman style, with Turkish carpets, wooden floors, pale wall coverings, soft wall lighting, hand-wrought ceilings, and complemented by modern amenities such as individual climate control, wireless Internet access (complimentary), satellite TV,in-room safe, minibar, and direct-dial phone. All bathrooms include slippers, make-up/shaving mirrors, complimentary toiletries, and hair dryers. Extra bedding and cribs (infant beds) are also available. Daily housekeeping service is provided. Sea View Rooms are available at surcharge.

“Cosy, central hotel with charming service”
The Dersaadet is a small hotel with stunning views of the Blue Mosque from its top floor breakfast room / bar terrace and staff who were unfailingly friendly and helpful in providing maps, restaurant advice / bookings and taxis. The rooms are small but very clean and comfortable with all amenities. Convenience for the traveller is provided in such features as in-room safes (very useful) and free internet access on the computer in the reception sitting area. Breakfasts were good - I would definitely stay there again.
“Charming hotel, fantastic location”
The hotel was great. Breakfast was very good and we were extremely satisfied with our entire stay. The location can't be beat! One word of caution, if you take the hotel shuttle (which is generally a good deal) either to or from the airport, be sure to have exact change to pay upon checking out. We had too much lira and euro and they couldn't make change. We ended up paying all in euro and had a handful of lira left over that we didn't use.
“Cozy”
The hotel personeel was magnificent, very good service. Best location, very close to sll attractions. The room may need a little update to make it more confortable, but was very clean, the breakfast at the terrace was very good with an awesome view. I would stay here again...
“Great location;extraordinary staff”
The Dersaadet is well-situated to explore the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Hippodrome, Topkapi and Basilica Cistern that are 4-5 minutes away at a slow leisurely walking pace. Its terrace cafe offers an wonderful,unobstructed view of the Bosphorus and illustrates the importance of the Golden Horn to fishing and commerce. While these attributes are commendable, Dersaadet's real distinction is its wonderful cadre of staff who are warm, knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. We found Istanbul exciting, vibrant, and historic;our stay at the Dersaadet greatly enhanced our first experience with this amazing city.
“a very comfortable hotel in the heart of historic Istanbul”
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect,a few minutes walk from St. Sofia and the Blue Mosque. There was a good complimentary breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable. I look forward to staying there again.
“The location of the hotel was fantastic so close to everything and so easy to get around”
Although not a complaint it would have been nice to have a larger room, the room we had was comfortable and very clean but a little small The hotel had always had a pleasant clean fresh aroma as did all the linen. Breakfast was served on the rooftop terrace with the most stunning views of the sea and the Blue Mosque. The staff were all very pleasant and friendly always ready to assist at all times. We will use this hotel again
“Good location, EXCELLENT service”
The hotel lies in a great location of the city, within walking distance to the blue mosque, grand bazaar, spice market, and many other sites. However, it's best attribute is the front desk service. Any questions asked to them about tours, sight seeing, or meal options, they were always armed with valuable information and a warm smile. Additionally, they're proud of their Expedi "Insider's Select" Award as the proudly display it on the front desk --they know customer satisfation is number 1!
“We LOVE the Dersaadet hotel!”
The staff were kind, patient and very helpful. I was struck by the fact that they would stand up whenever we entered the room; ready to answer any question. The room was very clean and comfortable. Quiet street. Nearby shops and small bazaar. Very easy walk to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Hippodrome, Grand Bazaar, Tram, Cisterne, and Topaki Palace. Wonderful breakfast in room overlooking Bosphorus and Blue Mosque. Also, they served drinks in the same room at night; beautiful to see Blue Mosque light up. Extremely great value for such a wonderful place.
“Great hotel near the Blue Mosque”
This was my second visit. Walking distance to the Hagia Sofia. Very helpful staff. Fabulous view from the breakfast terrace. They will arrange to meet you at the airport, which is very helpful if you are traveling alone. Hope to return again.
“This hotel is special, very impressed.”
The hotel has a charming roof-top cafe and garden where you can enjoy a beautiful breakfast buffet, read a book or have a drink and from which you can see the Blue Mosque, hear calls to prayer, watch commercial fisherman fish or just watch the boats in the harbor. The friendly staff spoke English, which was helpful to us. Our room was small but comfortable and the shower was wonderful. We were able to walk from the hotel to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Hippodrome and restaurants. Yet we were in a residential neighborhood. My husband and I agree that it was a great place to stay.
