Great location and stay for price, only downside is you are directly near a praying mosque and they will be blasting the prayer through the speaker pretty much every hour from 5am til 10pm. Not bad if you are a heavy sleeper I suppose.

Great hotel but basic, hence the cheap prices. Clean, tidy and super friendly staff. I would stay again. Great central location, but be warned. No taxis seem to be able to find this hotel, so id recommend walking to your destination if able, or get a taxi from the coffee shop at the end of the road instead.

I recently stayed at Burckin Suleymaniye and had a mixed experience. On the plus side, the location was excellent - within walking distance to all major attractions, dining, and entertainment options. The staff were also friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to ensure a comfortable stay. However, the room itself was a disappointment. It was smaller than I expected, which made it feel cramped and claustrophobic. The bed was also uncomfortably hard, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. Despite these issues, I would still consider staying at this hotel again due to its fantastic location and great staff. However, I would recommend that the hotel considers upgrading its mattresses and perhaps offers room size options to cater to different traveler needs.

We loved the hotel and it's unique character. It is in the fascinating streets of the Old Town but we found it quiet and peaceful. It is very close to the Suleyimanye mosque, which is beautiful to visit and announces prayers at 5am to 9.30pm. It is also in walking distance of so many of the attractions in the Old Town like the wonderful Spice Market, the famous Mosques and the Grand Bazaar. The Valens viaduct and the water is not far away so you can walk everywhere. A really great location. Breakfast has a good range of food and plenty of it and all the staff were friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend staying here.

The staff and location are amazing. The room is so small. It was an immense inconvenience for us. However when you overlook the room size and the dark shower, you see a very clean and well kept hotel room. Definitely the cleanest I have seen. If you want a hotel that is a 30 minute walk from everything and in a great location with a great view. Go here. If you rely on public transport and taxi I would recommend somewhere else. Walking back here at night was scary almost every night with very weird people on the streets coming up to you and begging for money. However, that being said this hotel is pretty good considering the price and location. We really enjoyed it.

Welcoming hotel, large room with comfortable bed. Turkish breakfast plentiful just missed having some yoghurt. Spent 5 nights at the hotel, lots of restraint choices within 10 min walk.

Great location only 15 minutes walk to the the Grand Bazaar. Close to all of the historical sites in the old town. Some nice places to eat just a few minutes walk away. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Thank you for a wonderful stay .

Bad experience I had with this hotel. Room was not so clean and nobody even checked or cleaned the room during our stay. Room was so hot at all time though outside weather was cold. Food was ok but I found spoiled bread in the breakfast. I should check-out by 12pm as per policy but I just got late 3 hours so Manager ask me to pay though they didn’t inform me earlier that someone is waiting from morning 7am for this room. They charged me full amount of equal to 1 day stay. Don’t recommend to others

Lovely view of Sulemaniye mosque and Bosphorus from breakfast room. Good location in old town and for walking to main sights (Bazaars, Haga Sofie & Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Gulhane Park) and to bridge to walk across the river. There's a moslem cultural centre next door which is open to visitors. Walking distance to Eminomu metro station and close to choice of Turkish cafes and western style hotels with restaurants. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful (booked taxi from airport and Bosphorus dinner cruise - came out to show us where taxi was in the rain, as entrance is in narrow road for large vehicle. We had to move room the first night as drainage was blocked in show and they were unable to fix immediately). As it was so close to the mosque, we heard the call to prayer 5 times a day. Room small and reasonably comfortable, but it was difficult to control temperature in the room. Tea making facilities, fridge and safe in room). Could only view Turkish language programmes (apart from news) and when we switched rooms, hardly any channels worked, but we had brought our own tablet, and were able to watch programmes on You Tube instead. Good value for money.

This hotel was perfect for a weeks stay exploring the wonderful city of Istanbul. It’s not the most flashy, and the room was quite small, but fit in with our budget, the staff were very friendly and they did a good breakfast. Very close to a Metro but also walking distance to all the main attractions. I would definitely stay here again if I was visiting Istanbul! Only thing I would say is that the room was very warm during the night and we couldn’t get the aircon to work - but not a mega issue!

Thank you for a really lovely stay. The management at this friendly hotel are hard working and could not be more welcoming and helpful. Its location in the old town is perfect and the views from the lovely modern terrace room on the top floor, including over the adjacent Suleymaniye Mosque, are beautiful. Don't be put off by official star ratings: the hotel is modest in size and has limited facilities, but it is charming and offers excellent value for money. HIghly recommended.

So close to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia with a wonderful range of food for breakfast, kind and helpful staff, and a strong shower. Only the air-conditioner didn't work, but an open window remedied the stuffy room on a 25 degree day.
