“Very Good Hotel in Istanbul!”

Ast Hotel is a very confortable and cozy. People who woks there are very friendly and helpfull. Very good localization, close to the most famous places in Istanbul. We also have breakfast and internet access included. I recommend!!

“Great Service”

I just really enjoyed the service. The washroom was a little small but after going around Istanbul you realize all washrooms are really small. The service and location was great.

“Good people, Great location”

The hotel is in a very good location, you can walk to the Blue Mosque or Agia Sophia and it's about 5 minutes max. The people running the place are very friendly and helpful. The room was quite large considering the price we paid. It had actually one more single bed and there was plenty of room left. It was actually lie a triple room. The bathroom was clean but the shower had black stains on the surrounding wall. We had also breakfast in the terrace which had a great view of the Bosporus. To sum up, I think it;s a very good choice for the money spent

“A great stay in Instanbul”

We had a little trouble finding the hotel since it was not the main street in Istanbul - but I think that was because of the streets there, and not the hotel. When we arrived the worker gave us a tour of the hotel. We loved this hotel. The room was adequate size, the room was clean, and had excellent air conditioning. The breakfast and lobby area was very inviting & they had an excellent area on the top of the hotel that looked over most of the historic area. It was about a 10 minute walk to the Blue Mosque and Haggia Sophia. Excellent stay!

“Nice inexpensive hotel”

The hotel was nice near the major tourist area and restaurants within easy walking distance.

“Great service, wonderful experience!”

It's a small and modest hotel, but the people running it are extremely friendly, warm and helpful. They make you feel like you've come home after a long day of sightseeing. The hotel is clean. If you are ever not happy about something, they will always try their best meet your needs. Oh by the way, they have a fabulous terrace! The sunrise is nice, although there is a building blocking it!! It's a nice place to stay if all you are after is a bed, shower and some nice people to hang out with.

“Renovations required”

Fortunately we got this hotel at a substantial discount to the rack rate, otherwise we would have been more disappointed than we were. Bathrooms were waredrobe size and fittings were sub-standard and room was not particularly clean. Apparently this hotel will be renovated from Jan 2012 - and it needs it!

“wireless access works in the lobby only”

The staff were friendly but the hotel system wasn't organize properly. rooms not cleaned always. Noisy.

“Rethinking your plans”

This hotel is nothing what it appears to be in the pictures. Our bathroom didn't even have a shower door. And watch out for the hot water heater! Yikes! The staff is friendly, but the other ameneties are so lacking, it doesn't make up for it. More like a hostel than a hotel, especially for the price-I'd rather stay at the Abella.

“Drain smell let the place down”

The room and service was good and clean, though the workmanship of fitting installations was poor. Unfortunately the smell of the drains made it unpleasant to be in the room and really detracted from our enjoyment of the hotel. The location was great though, just a 10 minute walk up the hill to the grand bazaar, aya sophia and blue mosque, and lots of food places around so we didn't spend much time at the hotel.
