“Great little hotel”
Great little hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was on the smaller size but was very clean. The hotel is in a perfect spot for many of the main sights, and close to restaurants. There was no view from our room, but that wasn't really a problem. Good views of Istanbul from the breakfast room. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
“Very nice hotel”
It is cute small hotel located near Aya Sofia. Rooms are very small, but very clean and comfort. Friendly staff. Breakfast very tasty. You can have a breakfast in the roof of the hotel with a wonderful view of Istanbul.
“Great hotel on great place”
Location of this hotel is great. Room are clean and service is great. It is near almost everything what you need to see and do. And best of all is price. So, I would recomand this hotel and reate it as best value for your money.
“Great Location”
We stayed at this hotek between 3-12 March, Great location, just minute walking to Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and many other great historical places, Alaadin hotel is perfect place to stay to explore istanbul in Sultanahmet area, Helpful and warm friendly staff, always there to help you, hotel was small but nice and clean, breakfast was ok but nothing special which served on 6th floor with great view from roof top, tram station was just round the corner, if you want to explore istanbul by foot than alaadin hotel is best place to stay, I will recommend this hotel to my friends, This was our first visit to Istanbul but not our last and ALAADIN will be our first choice to stay again.Thanks so much to all staff who made our stay at ALAADIN very pleasant.
“simple and ideally situated”
The hotel was simple, nice and clean, ideally situated and Muhammad at the desk was welcoming and helpful. The buffet breakfast on the 6th floor was basic but good for the hotel. Also, worth mentioning but not necessarily that important was the size of the room - mine was very small.
“Happy Holiday”
The Hotel and staff were great , only one thing that botherd us while there, is the instructions work next door and the noise that u can hear, apart from this I will recommand this hotel to stay as its at the middle of Istanbul, near to everything and the terrace is the most enjoying part when you sit at night looking at the Blue Moseque and Aya Sofya M,
“clean and comfortable hotel with great service in perfect location”
I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a nice and clean hotel in the perfect location to explore Istanbul. The rooms are not the largest, but clean and comfortable, although the rooms of the first floor seemed a bit dark. The staff are absolutely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really good and the breakfast room and the roof top terrace offer amazing views of the city.
“Nice hotel, served the purpose”
A nice family-run place. The staff was great. Breakfast was good. Rooms were okay, had what was needed. Cab drivers had a very difficult time finding the hotel. It is located in a convoluted cluster of streets. It's very easy to get to by Tram...right at the Sultanahmet tram stop.
“Ideal Istanbul base for a city break”
The hotel was in an ideal location for us: close to all the major historic sites, a great selection of restaurants and shops and the tramway. The staff could not have been more attentive or eager to please from the moment we arrived until we left. The room could have been larger and lighter but for a city break we weren't seeking either especially. The breakfast was plentiful, fresh and served in a great room overlooking the city. If you go to the Alaadin Hotel, try the Sultan Saray restaurant. It's 50 meters away and we spent every evening there. The food, atmosphere and service were great!
“Great hotel, couldn't get a more perfect location.”
Great hotel, staff were really lovely and helpful. The room was very clean and the location is absolutely perfect. Very quiet hotel, but barely 2 mins walk from the main attractions (Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern). Also very lively area with restaurants and bars about 5 mins walk away. Extremelly pleased with this hotel and would definitely go back. The only thing that I could find is that the air conditioning made a weird noise which could be a little annoying when trying to sleep, but I'm sure it could have been sorted had we taken the time to actually look at it! The rooms were quite sound proof altogether, and the blackout curtains provided us with several very good nights sleep.
