“Excellent place to stay in Istanbul”
Great small pension. Full, large selection breakfast served on rooftop with great view. Room with great view. Near Blue Mosque and other sites. Free Internet and calls to US. Host very helpful with arrangements. Highly recmended.
“Highly recommended”
We had a 2 night reservation but we arrived at 7 am. The doors were closed and we had to call the owner on his cell phone posted at the door. The regular phone number was for the hotel and no one answered. Not a good start but from here on everything was excellent. The owner/manager is very helpful. He runs almost the entire business. We were offered breakfast for our early arrival and were give our rooms early without any fuss. The rooms were clean and spacious. We had a room reserved for 3 people and instead of my 18 year old sleeping on the sofa-bed, the owner gave us the adjacent room that was available at no extra charge. The breakfast was excellent. The staff kept food around all day for late arrivals. Dining room on the roof with beautiful views, very low key but elegant. I will stay at the same place if I go to Istanbul again.

Ada hotel is very clean and the location is great. Turkish family owns this hotel and they are all very nice and friendly. We will definitely go back.
“Loved the Ada”
The small Ada Hotel in Istanbul was just what we were looking for. Friendly and helpful owners, fabulous views, a very comfortable room and lovely service. Breakfast is served on a rooftop terrace with views of the old city and the sea of Marmara. The huge selection of breakfast food was delicious. The hotel is located on a side street close to all the major sites in the old city, but quieter than many hotels. We booked a larger room with a sea view, and did not regret it. We loved the Ada.
