“A fantastic hotel in the heart of Causeway Bay”
When we arrived at the hotel we were amazed by the friendly and professional welcome we recieved. This set the tone for our stay and we were in no way disappointed. The only slight problem was the size of the room, which was small. This was offset by the friendly nature of the staff.
“OK...but nothing special”
Location is not that good...service was top and room was comfortable.
“My Fifth Stay at Metropark”
This is my fifth stay at the Metropark Causeway Bay, and as a frequent traveller through Hong Kong that in itself says a lot for this hotel. Always courteous the staff are what makes any business and this hotel is no exception. The rooms are always presented well and it's convenient location is a bonus. I did notice that on this stay there is no longer a welcoming bowl of fruit in the room, and the weighing scales needed a new battery, but apart from these two small details the room ( mine was a suite) was as good as it gets for the tariff. Highly recommended and yes, I'll be staying there again next trip.
“Metropark”
Wonderful hotel, excellant staff, very courtious and helpful. Views were wonderful of Victoria Bay. Location was decent, as Hong Kong has an excellant subway system. You can also purchase a 3 day toourist pass, which includes a one way trip either to or from the aiport. Be aware, the tube system doesn't open until 0600, so an early flight may pose issues. The draw back - their bar was expensive, no bottled water was given, and the local resturaunts are just that - very local, so watch out for hygeine issues. Otherwise, a great say. I would recommend this hotel to stay in, howerver, the Wan Chai or Kowloon areas are closer to the main attractions, shopping, and dinning.
“Excellent hotel”
Excellent hotel. Great location near MTR and trams. Staff very helpfull and friendly. Good breakfast and dinner buffet. Room was spacious and very clean. Roof pool was reaaly welcome after a hot day. Would choose to stay here next visit.
“Good spot to stop.”
Our room was a suite on the 26th floor. We had an excellent view over Kowloon & the harbour. It was very comfortable and spacious. The staff were very courteous and helpful. The location was not very central, however it was close to an underground railway station the tram line. We took the express train from the airport and used the [free] shuttle bus from Central train station to the hotel. We did the same in reverse when we left. this included airline check in of our luggage at Central railway station - saving hassle at the airport.
“Tina”
Hotel was superbly located near subway (but then everything in HK is near a subway). Enjoyed the fact that I was three stops from Central yet not in the mad hub of the centre of town. When explored the neighbourhood, found there were ample restaurants, stores etc. Loved the rooftop view and the gym facility which was there too.
“amazing roof pool”
The hotel is very clean. The view is outstanding, and the pool on the roof is amazing. It is rather special in HK: the hotel is close to a large area with tennis fields and pools, therefore there is a lot of free space in front of the windows even you are at low floor. The view on the bay in fantastic !! Location is not exceptional but there is a good link to public transportation: subway and tram at 3 min. Causeway Bay is 10 minutes on foot.
“Extremly convenient”
The staff were very professional and helpful at all times. The location was great across the street from the Metro station. Hotel was clean and food good.
“Excellent hotel for value”
Althought it is not as luxious as some high end hotels in Hong Kong, this hotel is certainly one of best hotels in Hong Kong for price - clean, comfortable, convenient, excellent services, very friendly staff. The location is great - quiet and convenient. The subway station is right across the street, Causeway Bay shopping area is only about 10 minutes walk through the lovely Victoria Park. The breakfast is adequent. The hotel rooms in Hong Kong are typically small. We stayed in an Executive Parlor room because we have a child and needed to add a bed. The room is big enough to add a bed without feeling crowded. The bathroom is also big. I would suggest any family which needs an extra bed to consider Executive Parlor. Only thing I wish it had is wireless connection in the room (it is only avalaible in the 1st and 2nd floor).
