Property Amenities
The Island Shangri-La is located above Pacific Place shopping mall. The hotel lobby is on level six with elevator access to the guestrooms beginning at level 39. A grand ballroom, several function rooms and a business center with Internet access are available. Eight restaurants serve a range of different cuisines. Guests may use the health club on level eight which includes a swimming pool, Jacuzzi, solarium, sauna, and steam rooms. Beauty services are also available within the hotel where facials, massages, and other beauty treatments are provided. There is a library with chairs and views, where guests may access books and reading material. The Concierge may arrange hotel limousine or airport transfer, and assist guests with off-site recreation. The shopping mall below offers numerous retail outlets and other entertainment options.
Horizon Club: Located on level 56 of the hotel, the Horizon Club Lounge is the highest executive lounge in the city with stunning vistas of Victoria Harbour and an outdoor landscaped area, which is the only venue of its kind in Hong Kong. Exclusive privileges include access to the Club Lounge, evening cocktails and Continental breakfast at the Club Lounge or other breakfast options at Restaurant Petrus.
Valet parking: HK$450 (US$58) per 24-hour period. The hotel offers valet parking for guests of the hotel, in a limited-space parking garage at the hotel. Parking may be complimentary for guests upon spending HK$650 (US$80+) within the hotel restaurants. Fees do not include tax and are subject to change without prior notice.
There are eight function rooms within the hotel, and a ballroom suitable for receptions of up to 1,200 guests. Internet access and a business center are also available.
Business center: Located on level seven, the business center provides four work stations, with Windows and Macintosh computers. Services include secretarial, translation, and printing, faxing, copying, and courier on request. Secretarial services may be hired for HK$250 (US$30−$35) per hour. Cell phone/mobile rental may be arranged, at HK$250 (US$32-$35) daily with refundable deposit. There is also a boardroom suitable for up to 14 guests, with audiovisual equipment available (surcharge). A small conference room for up to 10 guests may also be hired within the business center. A 24-hour helpdesk butler is also available. Fee(s) subject to change without notice.
Internet access: Complimentary wireless Internet is available in selected restaurants, and on the pool deck. High-speed Internet is available in the meeting rooms.
Conference/function room(s): The ballroom is approximately 645 square meters (6700 square feet). There are also function rooms where business meetings, classes, conferences and events may be accommodated, with catering available and audiovisual equipment for rental. LCD projectors are available (surcharges); Laptop computers are for hire as well.
Rooms
The 565 guestrooms in the Island Shangri-La provide guests with TVs, telephones, and weight scales in the bathrooms, along with designer toiletries and bidets. Premium bedding and pillow menus are also in every guestroom. All offer complimentary high-speed Internet access with direct-dial telephones, and DVD and CD players. Video game consoles and rollaway beds may be requested. All guestrooms have three-in-one printers with fax and copy capabilities. Fruit is provided in guestrooms as a welcome amenity.

Restaurant Petrus - The Michelin starred Restaurant Petrus serves Contemporary French cuisine with vegetarian options and extensive wine list, views of the harbor, open breakfast, lunch and dinner, with an evening dress code of dinner jacket, and smart casual at other times. Available for private dining parties.
Summer Palace - The Michelin starred Summer Palace serves Cantonese cuisine including Yum Cha, Dim Sum, and vegetarian options. Open lunch and dinner with smart casual dress code.
cafe TOO - A choice of seven different cooking zones provide guests with international cuisine, offering vegetarian selections. This café has crisp, contemporary décor, with polished floors, glass and steel finishes, and features a salad bar and desserts counter. Open from early morning till late, the café is located on level seven.
Nadaman - Japanese cuisine by Japanese chefs with separate Teppanyaki and Sushi areas, and a private room. À la carte dining is also provided with vegetarian options, for lunch and dinner till late. The restaurant has floor-to-ceiling windows. It is located on level seven above the lobby, and dress code is smart casual.
Island Gourmet - A patisserie provides a selection of fresh-made pastries, chocolates, breads and sandwiches. Open from early morning till evening, the cozy patisserie is found on level five.
Lobby Lounge - Traditional afternoon tea or evening cocktails are served while a musical quartet entertains with light music. The Lounge is situated off the lobby on level six and is open from morning till late evening. Guests are required to wear smart casual dress.
Lobster Bar & Grill - Cocktails and a light international menu are served daily, and there are performances six nights a week. Dress code is smart casual and the restaurant and bar is located on level six.
Recreation
Guests have use of the swimming pool on level eight, where there is also a fitness center offering cardio equipment including treadmills and cycles and weight machines, along with sauna and steam rooms for men's and women's use. A Jacuzzi is also available.
Concierge may be able to assist guests with off-site recreational activities including fitness classes, squash and other activities available at Hong Kong Park, Wan Chai Sports ground, and Victoria Park.

“Nice surprise”
The attention to detail was more than I expected even to remembering what sort of coffee I drink. Wonderful service with a smile.

The hotel was everything we expected; absolutely gorgeous inside with attentive service, nice mountain side views, and good food throughout. The location is fine, convenient to the subway and shopping, with a nice park adjacent. Walking distance to the Peak Tram but a bit far to the Ferry.
“Perfect Hong Kong Location”
The Island Shangrila is a truly world class accommodation experience. Centrally located on the Island with only a short walk to Admiralty MTR and a great Mall. We can truly say the Hotel excells at making you feel like royalty.
“Island peace & quiet”
One of the best hotel's I've ever stayed in. Well situated, adjacent to Hong Kong Park, pleasant grounds, convenient to business areas & tourist destinations, transport options plentiful including train-shuttle airport links. Exceptional service & helpful staff, good rooms. Remarkable (but expensive) breakfast with vast array of high quality Western & Asian foods. Summer Palace (Michelin-starred) restaurant in the hotel also exceptional. I'll use the Isaland Shangri -la again on Hong Kong visits and can strogly recommend it.
